(She's mostly upset that he hasn't apologized for it. She looks madder than she is.)
Autumn sighed and set her taco down before standing. "I'll be right back. I'm going to go to the bathroom."

Autumn sighed and set her taco down before standing. "I'll be right back. I'm going to go to the bathroom."
Alex had the decency to keep his head down. He nodded a little, finishing the nacho he was nibbling.
Wonderful start to the evening. Way to go, me!
Autumn made her way to the bathroom, where she shut the door behind herself. She looked at her reflection in the mirror and sighed, then turned the water on.
After splashing her face a couple of times, she turned the water off and looked for a towel.
Calm down. He was just messing with you. It's not that big of a deal. Just… calm down…
Alex sighed into a nacho and set it down. Now she’s going to leave, and you won’t see her for another few months. Or longer. God knows what she’ll get into then.
After finding a towel, Autumn dried her face and shook herself out. She took a deep breath and headed back out to sit on the couch with Alex.
"Sorry about that," she murmured, not looking at him.
Alex sighed and shook his head. “It’s not your fault. I should be the one apologizing.”
"No, you were just trying to be funny. I got way more upset than I should've," Autumn pressed, looking up at him.
(Sorry! My internet cut out!)
Alex sighed. “I could’ve just poked you awake or something.” He raised his gaze, his eyes serious. “I’m sorry.”
(It's fine!)
Autumn kissed him quickly and pulled away.
"It's fine," she assured him.
Alex grinned a little. “If you’re sure. Your nachos are in there.” He pointed to the bag.
"You got me nachos, too?" Autumn exclaimed as she dug in the bag with a grin.
Alex chuckled. “Nnnooooooo, I was telling you to get me my second bag! Of course I did!”
"Thank youuuuu!" Autumn hummed as she pulled it out and opened it.
Alex chuckled wearily. “There’s some things of salsa and queso, too.”
"I'll just eat the queso and my chips," Autumn said, grinning over at him as she dug out the cheese.
Alex rolled his eyes. “You take everything I say much too literally.” He was of course, joking.
Autumn stuck her tongue out at him and popped a chip in her mouth. "You joke too much, then."
“My whole life is a joke. Why not joke all the time?” He laughed.
"If you joke all your life, then how will I ever know when you're being serious?" Autumn teased.
(Dude woah. *your)
Alex laughed. “That’s the trick.” He waved a finger knowingly.
(What the heck.)
"But what if you say you're dying then how will I know if you're kidding or serious?" Autumn asked, raising an eyebrow at him as she ate another chip.
“Well I’ll be all breathless and sick. It wouldn’t be very fun for me. I don’t think I’d joke about that.”
Autumn snorted and continued eating her chips.
"Okay, okay. I get the point," she chuckled.
Alex giggled and continued crunching into his chips, too. “So you just wanna lay around all day?”
"Yeah, for today. But we're grocery shopping tomorrow," Autumn reminded him with a smile.
Alex laid down and stretched. “Sounds great. I’ll prolly go upstairs, change, then take a nap.”
"…I could join you for that nap if you wanted?" Autumn offered, keeping her eyes on her chips.
(Ah, yes, he’d love it if she joined him for his friendly map-making)
Alex grinned up at her. “I’d love for you to join me.”
(I'm watching a show. Sue me.)
Autumn looked over at him and smiled. "Cool. Naps are great."
(xD)
Alex nodded frankly. “They are indeed.”
