"Okay. I just want some steak tacos," Autumn said, resting her chin on Alex's shoulder so that her nose was barely an inch away from his face.
mOth GIRL COME MORROW I WANT ANOTHER RP WITH YOU
Alex booped it and pulled up the resturant number. “Steak taco it is.”
Autumn crinkled her nose up and shook her head at the boop, then kissed his cheek. She laid her head in his shoulder with a soft sigh.
Alex laughed gently and started talking into the phone. Soon he had rattled out their orders, his credit card info and his address.
Autumn had actually fallen asleep as he ordered, and her breathing was slow and steady as she slept. She made a light hum in her sleep and stirred slightly without waking up.
Alex laughed quietly and shifted under her, so she could rest on him at a comfortable angle. He rested his head back and reached out for his remote. Barely in reach
(Skip?)
Autumn wrapped her arms around him, still sleeping. She snuggled a bit closer, enjoying his warmth.
(Sure! To when?)
(When food arrives maybe?)
(Suuuurureeeee!)
Alex was close to dozing himself when a knock at the door woke him up. He carefully shifted out from under Autumn and grabbed his wallet, answering the door with a grin. He went to pay before realizing he already did. So he just signed off and took the food happily.
Autumn, unfazed by her "pillow" leaving her, continued to sleep on the couch. She curled up, pulling her legs up to her chest.
Alex shut the door and walked over.
“AUTUMNNN!!” He screamed loudly and at the top of his lungs.
Autumn jumped and fell off the couch, sitting up to glare at Alex.
"I hate you," she grumbled.
Alex collapsed into giggles. “I know. The food’s here!”
Autumn continued to glare at Alex as she walked over to him and silently held her hand out for her food.
Alex sassed her, cocking his hips to the side. “Aren’t you gonna ask?”
"I'll ask when you apologize for waking me up so rudely," Autumn said, still glaring daggers at him.
Alex giggled. “I told you I’d wake you up for food. So I did!”
"Had I known you were going to do that, I wouldn't have fallen asleep," Autumn grumbled, reaching for the bag.
(Is Notebook being slow for you, too?)
(Yyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeep!)
Alex giggled more and handed over the bag. “I have different means of waking people up.”
(sighs Must. Be. Patient.)
"Could you just do it normally next time?" Autumn asked, taking the bag to the table and sitting down with it.
Alex plopped down next to her. “Nope. I’m gonna do it the Alex-way.”
"Maybe I shouldn't spend the week here, then," Autumn muttered under her breath, still upset about being awoken that way and falling off the couch. She opened the bag and found her tacos, then handed the rest to Alex.
Alex frowned a little and accepted his food with a quiet sigh. He grabbed a plastic fork and crossed his legs on the couch, taking the lid off of his food and started to eat.
Autumn picked at her food and glared at it, mulling over her ticked-off thoughts. She ate barely any of it for a while, then got hungrier and ate more and faster.
Alex scraped off the sauce from his chipotle steak and started on his order of nachos and queso.
He doesn't even think he did anything wrong, does he? He probably just thinks I'm overreacting.
Autumn let out a silent huff as she continued to eat her steak tacos.
Alex unknowingly was being a clueless bean. He knew he did something wrong, but he thought Autumn just shrugged it off, and was being grumpy about being woken up.
Autumn was pretty ticked. Her cheeks were tinted red, and not because she was flustered. Her mouth was set in a tight-lipped line, and she stared down at the taco in her hands.
(I don’t wanna be that guy but
Who would get that mad???)
Alex nibbled on a nacho quietly. He decided not to spare a glance to Autumn.
