Alex grinned a little and hugged her close. He leaned his head close to hers, shutting his eyes slowly.

Autumn yawned again and pulled her legs up onto the couch. She wrapped her arms around Alex, cuddling into his side.

Alex shifted so his chest was facing towards her and his legs were tucked up under her. He pulled her into his chest, smiling.

Autumn hummed tiredly, already half-asleep. She buried her face in his chest as her breathing slowed and deepened.

Alex laid down slowly, propping himself up on the foot of the couch. He rubbed her back gently, humming softly.

Alex stirred a little. It was still dark in his home, the TV showed the ‘Are You Still Watching?’ screen from Netflix. Alex rested back into slumber, snoring softly.

"Seriously? Your girlfriend falls off of you and lands on the floor loudly, and you don't wake up?" Autumn scoffed, still half-asleep.

Alex rolled over onto his other shoulder, facing his back towards her. He snored again.

Autumn groaned again and tapped him in the face. "C'mon. I want pancakes. And my whipped cream. Which I may just end up eating by myself if you don't get up…"

Alex twitched awake. He shifted to look at her. “It’s still dark out… what are you talking about?”

Alex was sitting up in his room, writing some song lyrics idly. He didn’t get very far, but his bandmates had reflected wonderful ideas off of him. He’d gotten a lot done since Autumn went back to work, but he still missed her.

Autumn ran through the house, frantically searching for an earring she wanted. It was a cute, little, silver guitar, and she'd bought the pair not long after she'd started dating Alex.
Speaking of, she was going to surprise him with a visit today. He didn't know she was back in town, and she hoped that he'd be happy to see her.
"Finally!" she exclaimed, picking the earring up off the counter. She stuck it in her ear and put the back on, securing it in place.
Heading back to her room, she double checked that she liked her outfit. Today, she'd chosen a white blouse with black skinny jeans and converse. Nothing too fancy, but still cute. She also wore a black, wire choker around her neck, which she pulled down to the correct place.

Alex shifted in his bed so he was laying on his tummy. He was wearing a wonderful sweats combo, not at all aware of Autumn’s plans. He hummed along with the new beat he had conjured up, messing with the volume on his laptop boredly.
