After everyone had gone home from the ball, Sterling and Eden had said goodbye to their parents and taken the flight back to California they’d booked with Violeta and Gray. They’d settled back in and gotten back into the swing of things, and now it was already over a week later.
Sterling glanced down at his watch, chewing on his lip a little. He’d invited Violeta over for dinner with him and Eden, and she was supposed to be arriving any moment now. He needed her to be punctual because he’d also taken it upon himself to book the girls spa days afterwards.

Eden sighed as she stretched, having been unable to do so back in Florida due to being busy and tired.
Things had gotten a bit… heated up, which added to a little more exhaustion for the girl, but she pretended it didn’t.
Finally, she walked back in the room to notice her boyfriend glance a time his watch before chewing on his lower lip.
She frowned, resting her hands on his shoulders, gently massaging the muscles. She pressed a light kiss to his neck.
“Are you okay, love?”

Sterling hummed and relaxed as she rubbed his shoulders, closing his eyes contentedly. Gosh, how did she know just what he needed? Except for that kiss… He was pretty sure that was just too tease him a little.
"I'm fine, E. Just waiting for something," he answered softly. "Thanks for the massage…"

Eden quirked an eyebrow, her fingers digging into his back.
“Firstly, loosen up a little,” she murmured, trying to remove all the knots in his shoulders. “Second, waiting for what?”

A slow sigh escaped from Sterling’s lips as Eden worked on his back. She really was amazing… It just confirmed what he already knew.
“I invited Violeta over for dinner. I thought you two could go have a girl’s night,” he explained.

Eden blinked, her hands slowing down before she picked up the pace, pressing on the back of his neck, working quickly and swiftly.
"You could have told me," she frowned, though she felt anything but upset. Sterling had done such an amazing thing for her. She was extremely grateful. "I could have prepared something for her."

“Gosh, Eden, that feels amazing…” Sterling muttered before she spoke. He nodded slowly in acknowledgement. “I know… I have food in the fridge, though. I made it yesterday. We just have to heat it up.”

"You did?" she raised an eyebrow even though her boyfriend couldn't see it. "Wow, you're prepared."

“Yup. I wanted you two to have a good, relaxing time…” Sterling murmured as he relaxed further. “Speaking of which, I should stick it in the oven, soon… Violeta should be here any minute now.”
