"You are cruel…." Violeta whispered, fumbling for his hand. Once she had a firm grip on it, she raised it to her chest, directly above her wildly thundering heart. "Please…"

Gray’s eyes darkened with need before he finally met her lips, moving them alongside hers gently. He kept them pressed together for a few good seconds, wanting nothing more than to keep them clasped with hers, but wanting to tease her as well.

So once a few seconds had passed, he pulled away and gave her a smirk.

“Let’s go now, sweetheart.”

A whimper left my mouth before I could even think about stopping it. Swaying forward at the loss of contact, I wrapped my fingers around his collar; a weak attempt to tug him back down to me.

Gray smirked at her behavior, putting his finger on her lips.

“Wow, someone’s desperate,” he murmured teasingly. “Should I put you out of it, hm? Or should I keep you like this until we get home?”

"Don't you dare…." I breathed, pressing a desperate kiss to the tip of his finger. "Grayson Jules, don't you dare leave me hanging…"

Gray smirked, pleased with the way she was behaving.

“Then you initiate it,” he murmured, pulling his face up, out of her reach. “If you’re able to kiss me, I’ll kiss you for however long you want.”

Violeta didn't hesitate. Gathering up fistfuls of his shirt, she pulled him down and crushed her lips against his, desperate for his touch.

Gray smirked, kissing her back with much desperation equaling hers. He moved his mouth against hers, biting her lip, giving her what she wanted.

"Thank you…" she breathed against him, going weak in his arms.

Eden leaned against him, closing her eyes. It was mostly because she felt comfortable in his hold, and also because her eyes had begun to hurt.

"I don't think so," she answered with a hum. "Would probably want him to find it out himself. You did tell her to keep a secret."

Eden hummed in reply, sighing against him.

Gray stuffed his hands in his pockets, smirking at his mess of a girlfriend.

"C'mon, love, let's go now."

Violeta, flushing and stammering, managed to choke out some sort of agreement, pressing a hand over her pounding heart.

Gray linked their fingers together, and soon enough they were at the restaurant, where they finally met up with Eden and Sterling.

“Hey, guys!” Gray waved, the optimum of calm and composed.

Violeta, who had somehow managed to piece herself together on the way over, raised a hand in greeting. "Hey, Eden, Sterling."

Eden looked up and nodded her head, a small smile on her face despite the aching eyes.

“Come on, let’s go,” she said, tugging on Sterling’s hand lightly. “Did we get a reservation?”

Gray pushed the menu towards Violeta, smiling softly.

“You can order what you want,” he shrugged. “For both of us. I don’t mind.”

Eden snorted lightly, but Gray paid her no mind.

Violeta leaned against Gray's shoulder, opening the menu in her lap. "How are you guys?" she asked Sterling and Eden, a satisfied smile curving her lips.

Gray quirked an eyebrow at the look his girlfriend sent towards their friends, as well as the light blush that covered Eden’s cheeks. What did he miss?

“We’re good, too,” he answered, resting his head against Violeta’s.

"Mm," she agreed, intertwining their fingers together. "And I'm glad to hear that everything's going well."
