(Well… now what?”
Next Steps [Private RP — Closed]
(Uh… Double date?)
(Good idea, I suppose?)
(Lol. And this one wil be calmer than the first. XD)
(Yes definitely xD)
😂
(Cliché reminded me of something…)
Eden looked into the mirror in their room, squinting before she rubbed her eyes. She looked at her glasses and sighed. Not again… everything seemed to be blurry, and even with the lenses, she couldn’t get rid of it. Lucas had the better end of their vision problems. Eden’s… went down faster.
She chewed on her lower lip, worry gnawing in the pit of her stomach. She had been having problems seeing properly even with her glasses or the lenses she had, but she always blamed it on lack of sleep. She hadn’t been having sleep problems in a while. She couldn’t keep using that excuse… They were just about ready to leave for their double date with Gray and Violeta and…
Eden sighed again.
(No…….. I don't like it. 😭)
Sterling knocked gently on the bathroom door. Eden had been in there for quite a while, and he was beginning to worry if she was okay…
"E? Babe, it's almost time to head out… Are you ready?" he called through the wood.
Eden almost jumped at his voice, but she shook her head.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” she called back hesitantly. She’ll just have to make do with her current glasses. She couldn’t worry Sterling with her decreasing eyesight… “I’ll—I’ll be right out.”
Sterling frowned a little at the time of her voice. She certainly didn't sound okay… But he wasn't going to push her to tell him what was wrong.
"Okay. If you're sure," he said softly, stepping back away from the door.
Eden finally opened the door after putting on her glasses. Though her vision cleared a bit, she knew her eyes would start hurting due to the strain. And she would have to tell her parents, too…
“I’m ready,” she called out to Sterling, grabbing her bag and her phone.
(Wait for T?)
(Yup. (:
( e d e n )
(Wait are we just going to do third-person from now on?)
(Probably. Lol. I think it’s easier that way…)
(Yeah. XD
(Aw okay…)
“Babe, what time is it?” Violeta called from the bathroom, applying a thin black line along her eyelid. She screwed the cap back onto the wand and began to button up her shirt, taking her time.
Gray was sitting on the couch, waiting for his girlfriend. Gosh, she took a long time. It didn’t matter, though, because she always blew his mind.
“We’ve got twenty minutes,” he answered back. “How much time do you need, love?”
“Almost done…” I responded, biting my tongue. Should I tuck? Or leave it? “Hey, babe? I need your opinion on something!”
Gray stood up from his seat and made his way towards the bathroom.
“What is it?” He called, stopping in front of the door.
Violeta opened the door for him, tugging on the bottom of her button-up blouse. “Should I tuck? Or just leave it? Maybe I could tie it up?” Frowning a little at her reflection in the mirror, she paused. “Or should I change? I’m not sure I look good in this anymore..”
Gray stared at her with deep intensity before he rested his hands on her hips, pulling her close.
“Tie it up,” he answered. “You’ll look hotter than you already do.”
Violeta’s eyes went wide when he pulled her to him. Slowly, heart pounding, she lifted her shirt just enough to tie it up, exposing a thin slice of waist…. which his thumbs were now brushing.
When he felt soft, smooth and warm skin beneath his fingers, Gray immediately pulled his hands away, pretending he hadn’t noticed as he snaked them around her back.
“Like I said,” he murmured. “You’d look hotter.”
"Not as hot as you…" she whispered, slipping her arms around his middle. "How long did you say we have?"
Enough for a little make-out session?
Gray quirked an eyebrow, a smile playing on his lips.
“Twenty minutes,” he murmured.
"Long enough for you to kiss me…?" she ventured shyly, biting her lower lip.
“Sweetheart, if I kiss you right now, we might not make it there on time,” Gray started dangerously, running his thumb across her lower lip. “And you might have to fix your clothes afterwards. Such a hassle, right?”
I crumbled beneath even the slightest of his touches. "Please—Gray, you can't do this to me. Please…"
Gray let out a smirk, dipping his head down slightly. Enough to be close to her mouth, but not touching.
“Can’t I, though?” He murmured. “I could just leave you hanging.”
