"Why isn't there security here?" Rye was surprised. With how many students skip class she figured there would be more. "This is exciting." Rye never imagined she would be skipping class. She looked up at Levi and scanned his face. It was warm out and there was sweat on his forehead and his hair was a bit wet, but honestly she didn't mind. Her heart skipped a beat for a moment. What was that?
Notice me.

"Yeah, i know almost everything they teach us here." He shrugged. "So i do admit to skipping every now and then. It's simply unnecessary" he says going to the bushed, trying his best not to get dirty.
When he was in the mental ward, not only did they try to "fix" him, they also did schooling. Though they saw how smart he was and so they gave him more highschool work. He never minded though.
"Levi," Rye turned him around and hugged him, she just felt like it, though she wasn't sure why. "We should watch the sunset again tonight." The moment they had the other night, Rye wanted that again. She slowly let go and smiled. "Okay, I'll follow your lead." Rye wasn't sure where to go, she hadn't done this before. Her heart was racing, though she wasn't sure if it was because of the thrill or if Levi was doing this to her.

Once he heard her say his name he turned her way only to stop.as she hugged him. His face turned beat red, but he hugged her back gently.
He was dumbfounded by her next comment. And if his face couldn't get red enough.
"Uh…yeah sure, I mean uh…i would love that. I mean….yeah just follow me" he cursed himself under his breath for being so flustered and awkward.
After a few minutes they were out and into the sidewalk a little ways from the school building.
"That was fun." Rye slightly swung their arms as they walked down the street. Though this was her first time skipping and it was fun, she didn't want to know how her parents would react, especially her dad. Her dad was old fashioned and believed in going to school everyday, it was only acceptable to not go when you were extremely sick. And sadly, her father believed in physical punishment, something not even Levi knew about. She had to mentally prepare herself for the punishment of a life time. "So, what's the name of this coffee shop you love so much?"
group
(Hahaha Levi does hate physical punishment, but that was his whole life. well it was more abuse than anything, but that was the only thing present in his life before he was in the mental ward)
He smiled and held her hand as she swung their arms back and forth. He found it rather funny since he was so much taller than her.
But it never bothered him that she was short. If anything, he thought it was quite adorable. Whenever she would look up at him with that gorgeous smile, his heart would just melt into the butterflies in his chest.
After a while of walking, they reached the coffee shop. He turned to Rye with a soft smile. "By the way, I'm paying" he says ruffling her hair
"What, no. Ty gave me money, so I can pay for my own." Rye always felt bad that Levi had to pay for everything. If her dad let her get a job it wouldn't be like this. When the door opened the aroma of coffee filled the air. It smelled good. Rye wasn't allowed to drink coffee much. Now that she thought about it she wasn't allowed to do a lot of things. She was thankful that Levi didn't know how much actually went on in her home. She also was thankful even with everything going on she could smile in front of him. "What are you going to get?" Rye asked as she looked around, for some reason she expected Tammy or her father to be here.

He got out his wallet and looked at what they had. His eyes widened and a smile grew on his face as he saw..heaven.
The strawberry cheesecake. He looked at it through the glass then back up at the lady at the desk. "I'll have two of these please" he turned to her. "Do you want one? I'm paying either way" he says with smile.
He hasn't had strawberry cheesecake in a few month now and he was really missing them.
That's one of the main reasons he wanted to go here in the first place. But now it was for Rye. But the cheesecake was important too.
"I'll take one as well." Rye loved sweet things. And Cheesecake was one of her favorites. With a smile she pointed to the classic one. Though she liked strawberries, she didn't really like them together. She looked up at Levi, and thanked him. Still, she felt bad. "I'm going to find us a seat." The girl behind the counter looked at their hands and smiled. "You two are a cute couple." She said as she grabbed the cheesecakes. Rye's face turned red and she let go turning away. She didn't want Levi to see. "Yeah…" was all she could say before walking away to find a table.
group
He ordered a black coffee and paid for everything once she went to find them a seat.
His face turned beet red when the lady said that and even more so when Rye just agreed. He thanked her and turned around, stepping over to her as she picked their spot.
"Find anywhere good?" He asks her from behind, though wondering if he should have said something and warned her before he just said something out of nowhere.
"There's a window seat over there," Rye gestured to a corner table next to a window where you have a nice view of flowers. "But, someone took it before I could make it there." Rye loved flowers, it was one of the many, things she liked. "Oh well." A little disappointed she walked to a table that was closer to the middle of the room, her face slightly red. It was hard to look at Levi in the eyes, but somehow she managed. "So, this is your favorite coffee shop? I'm surprised you haven't taken me here before."
(I'm at church so it might take a bit for me to answer back.)
group
(Okay it's totally fine. I just got back from church actually lol)
He went to go ask the others to move but she sat down too soon. He was one to not be afraid to be rude for someone he cared for. He would have made them move in a heartbeat if she wanted him to.
He sat down in the chair across from her so he could get a better view of her, plus talking to her was easier with eye contact.
"Yeah sorry about that. I was saving it to go there for your birthday. I knew you'd like it here." He smiled sweetly
"My birthday!" Immediately her disappointment turned into excitement. "But my birthday is still two months away, unlike your birthday which is only a few days away." Finally she was able to look at him again. She wanted to know what he wanted for his birthday. "Speaking of which, what do you want?" Rye leaned forward wanting to know what kind of present he wanted.
group
He let out a soft chuckle, running his hands through his hair “didn’t i already tell you?I don’t need anything.” He smiled at her. He was never really one for presents. He liked them and all, but he always felt bad when someone got him a gift.
“But I mean, going to the carnival is a good gift right?”
A lady came up to them with their drinks and three cheesecakes on tiny little plates.
“Here you go guys! Have a wonderful day.” She says with a bright smile as she set the tray down and walked away to another customer.
"I guess. I just wanted to get you something special." Rye stabbed her fork into her Cheesecake and ate it. The creamy texture melted on her tongue. It was sweet. Her face lit up and as she smiled. "This is good." She said as she covered her mouth so he wouldn't see her eating with her mouth full. Rye was most likely going to get Levi a present even if he doesn't want one.
group
“I mean….I guess you can if you really want. Though if you do, expect me to get something five times bigger and most likely more expensive than what you get me. Just because” he says before He slipped the forkful of cheesecake into his mouth and smiled “goodness, I forgot how much I loved them. I mean….I knew I absolutely loved it but….” he took another bite and didn’t even bother to finish his sentence.
Once he was done he simply moved onto the next cake. Since they were so small, of course he got two. He was also really big and tall, so he normally had to eat a lot more than a normal person, though he made sure to balance his weight so he didn’t get overweight. So far he was doing a good job.
Rye was resting her chin on her hands as she watch Levi eat. He was so cute when eating cheesecake. Eye on the other hand had already finished hers. "Hm.." She couldn't help but look at him. "What are we going to do after this?" She wanted to just have fun with him today. Nothing else. "Maybe a walk in the park?" I heard the trees are starting to bloom, it should be really pretty."
group
He looked up to her with big eyes from his cheesecake. His eyes could get really wide, they just never did. He was always very calm, as a lot of people would say “stoic”.
He never really cared what people called him.
He thought about her question then smiled as he set his second empty plate aside.
“Yeah let’s do that” he says taking a sip of his unsweetened black coffee, which was already half gone. “I’m glad the weathers cooperating today. Usually when I plan to something the weather always disagrees”
"It's because you're with me." Rye grinned and flipped her hair. She hoped Levi didn't take her seriously, she would hate if thought of her as one of those kind of girls. "There's a slight breeze, thank goodness I brought my jacket." She wished she could go home and grab her camera, but because of reason that would be a bad idea. So her phone it is. "I want to take lots of pictures. The trees blooming is one of me favorite things." And of course secretly she was going to take some of Levi, her was her favorite model, even if he didn't think he was good at it.
group
(Haha cute :3)
He chuckled, running his hand through his hair before that specific thick curl of black hair fell in his face, over his forehead. It didn't even look that bad whenever it was in his face. It didn't even look very out if place. But Levis perfectionist side will never let it be there. Well….he'll never let it stay that it.
"You know, i should get some pictures of you with this scenery. It'll match" he smiled at her
Rue aas a bit taken aback, she never really liked being in front of the camera much. Her dream was to be a photographer. "You must be kidding. I'm not fit to be a model." She smiled shyly and tucked a piece of fallen hair behind her ear. Why would he want to take pictures of her in the first place? Weren't there many other girls who would fit better? "Anyway, we should go." Rye was scared to hear his answer, even if he already said it would suit her. Is he just being nice?
group
He chuckled a little, "well you say that id make a good model, though i highly disagree. Now you know how i feel. Rye, you're absolutely gorgeous" he says as he stood up, ruffling her hair with a gentle smile. "Okay come on. Where do you want to go next?"
"Well, the road in the park has the best blooms so far." With her fingers Rye tried her best to fix her hair. Gorgeous, huh? She smiled and her face turned red. There was a feeling inside her when he said that, and she liked it. "You may not know it, but you are extremely handsome. Every girl in school is after you, you know." Rye opened the door and began to walk to the park. She pulled her phone out and looked through her pictures. That's strange, most of my pictures are of Levi. Rye hadn't noticed till now. Her eyes wandered up to his face. The wind blew his hair and a few flower passed by. She was mesmerised, and it was in that moment she realized what this feeling was. I'm in love with Levi.
group
He smiled at her comment. Trying his best not to turn red, he walked through the door. “With all of these freckles and this messy hair?” He rolled his eyes “yeah right. It’s just because I’m a gentleman. I know how to treat a lady properly. Which they don’t know how to be treated properly. So once they find someone that’s actually nice to them, they fall. It’s sad really.” He says with a sigh.
"Ah, I see." Maybe he's just being nice. Does that mean I'm one of those girls? Rye felt a bit hurt, but even if he didn't like her and they just stayed friends, she would be okay with that… right? It took about 15 minutes to get to the park. And when they did the street was covered in flowers and the trees were as well. The beautiful pink color surrounded them. "Wow," Rye's eyes lit up. Sure this happened every year, but she never got tired of it. She pulled out her phone and began taking pictures.
group
“Which I don’t get why they think I’m being nice. Have you seen how rude I usually am to them. Maybe I hold open the door for them or pick up their pencil. But I guess that’s just how it is.” He shrugged.
Once they arrived at the park he looked around with a rather content expression.
A soft smile to match it with his hands in his pockets, his blue eyes glazed over the scenery “yeah it’s pretty amazing,” He says stepping up to her and watching as she took the pictures. She was an amazing photographer. He could never be that good.
Even if she denied it, she would always be a better photographer.
He’s told her a few times every now and then that he did photography, but he mostly wrote. He’s already actually written a few books. Now the only thing he needs to do know is publish them. Oh how he would absolutely love for at least one of his books Tom be published. Especially his main book that he’s been working on for a few years now. “Time after Time”. He just finished it about a week ago.
It was a romance, fantasy novel. He would talk to Rye about it for so long. He was always afraid that she was getting annoyed or tired of him talking about it, but she’s never seemed to.
A man is locked in an insane asylum and a girl that only was out there because her parents thought she was insane meet and end up falling in love while the man is helping her escape. The man ends up dying in the end by “Ol Sparky”. That’s what Levi always liked to call the electric chair.
He never seemed to have the time to actually publish the book.
He really did need to do that soon did he
Without looking at him, Rye pointed to a spot near the river that had many trees around it. "You should go stand over there." Her eyes slightly moved to his. It was like they were glowing. She's always loved his eyes. For a minute she got lost in his eyes. "Levi.. I.." someone bumped into her before she could finish, and honestly she was grateful, this wasn't the time for confessions, maybe it never will be. "Never mind." She smiled and waved her phone around. "Let's take some pictures!" Her excitement was back, or at least she acted as if it was.
group
He had all of his attention on her when she said his name.
Oh gosh. Whenever she so much as said his name his heart beat as fast as a drum.
He was partially startled when someone bumped into her, but he let it slide.
As long as she didn’t mind and she wasn’t hurt, he found no reason to be rude.
At least not in front of her. He hated being rude to people in front of her.
He never actually found it hard or anything to be 5e biggest jerk in the world.
As long as it’s not in front of her that is.
“Okay?” He says a little confused. “Are you alright?” He asks as he glares at the man who bumped into her.
"Yeah…. I'm okay." Keep smiling and he won't ask questions. Quickly she snapped a picture of him. "This scenery suits you. It makes you actually look kind." She nudged him and laughed. Of course she was kidding." Rye already thought he was kind, always. She looked at the picture she just took and he looked amazing. "This is a keeper. Look at my amazing and handsome friend." Rye had a few flowers stuck in her hair. Her blue eyes sparkled with joy.
group
He was a little hurt when she said that but he didn’t let that show.
He knew he didn’t look kind. Nor was he kind a lot of times.
But when she said that, he didn’t really feel very good about himself.
He ignored the feeling and focused on other things.
How gorgeous and absolutely adorable she was at that moment. As always
“Here, let’s get some over by that tree. It seems lonely” he says ruffling her hair and gesturing to a lonesome tree near the other side of the pond.
“You’d look great right there underneath it” he says with a small smile
