Nathaniel nodded, following V out to the car. He almost fell a couple of times, but pretended that he didn't, of course.
one on one?
V sighed softly "I'm sorry about this, I should have known the injuries weren't healed well enough."
"It's not your fault… I wanted to come." Nathaniel sat in the passenger side, exhaling sharply. Great… now I'll have to stay put longer.
"yeah but I should have not let you come." He argued, getting the driver's seat
Nathaniel shrugged, leaning his head on the dashboard. "It's fine, whoever's fault… I'll heal."
V nodded and drove off back to the house. "You were really good back there, I actually had to put in some effort when trying to counter youre attacks." he complimented softly
Nathaniel smiled weakly. "Thanks… normally I'm better, but then again, I'm normally not injured. Unless you count my wings, of course."
"I wasn't counting that." He said, glancing over "still in pain?"
"Yeah… but like I said, I'll heal. I overexerted myself, is all."
"hm," v still wasn't convinced that Nathaniel was ok but he said nothing
Nathaniel shifted his grip on his sword, examining it. It was still in great condition, so that was good. "How far are we from your place?"
"a couple miles. Say about 10." He said "why?"
"Just wondering how long we'll be in the car…" Nathaniel tapped his fingers on the hilt of his sword.
"5 minutes tops." He reasured, sighing softly
(Damn V you must be driving f a s t )
"Alright." Nathaniel fell quiet, trying to ignore the pain for now.
(angel speed? Not a thing….meh)
V drove the rest.of the way to the house without asking questions. Once they got home, he helped Nathaniel in and sat him at the table
Nathaniel sat down quietly. He wasn't really sure if V's healing thing actually worked, but he didn't necessarily feel worse.
V made some more tea and sat down across from Nathaniel. "Let's see if the walls are down yet."
"Alright." Nathaniel sipped his tea and glanced at the computer screen, not really sure what he was looking for.
He typed in a few commands and pulled up the window for the ID's "ughhhh 7 more to go! Jeez!"
"How long will that take?" Nathaniel drank more of the tea, the hot liquid feeling good as it went through his aching body.
"about three more hours." He said, leaning back in his chair and putting his hand behind his head
"Alrighty. What do we do for three hours, then?" Nathaniel took another sip of the tea, looking at V over the rim of the cup.
"let's try for something less extreme than swords play." He laughed
"Yeah, probably a good idea… we could watch a movie or something?" Nathaniel shrugged. "Or two, I dunno."
He nodded "more like or three, depending on the time length." He said, getting up and heading over to the living room
Nathaniel sat down on the couch with his tea. "What all do you have?"
"uhm… Let's see..all marvel franchise movies…for some weird reason, all trilight films…..most of the Lord of the rings films….some Disney…and a bunch of random movies." He said, laying them off
"Lord of the rings is good. Pretty long, but hey. We've got firewalls to wait on."
"I hate firewalls…." V flopped down next to Narhaniel and handed him the remote. "It's all on the TV."
