She saw the thumbs up and chuckled, the cutlass almost falling again before she caught it and kept it balancing. "Alro the spy.." She muttered to herself, grinning as she stood up and put the weapon away in its scabbard. Jerome had no clue what Alro was doing she realized and she laughed again, a little bit quieter this time. Looking around the ship she sighed and shrugged, walking over to Jerome and the others.

group

Alro of course, was the first to notice her walk over since Jerome and John were still arguing. Elbowing Jerome to the side, he wiggled his eyebrows and pointed at her. John and Jerome both looked at her the exact same time. "Well well, speak of the devil, hello there Reva, why don't you sit with us?" John peered over at Jerome, with a smirk. "Yeah sit with us!" Alro beamed. Jerome facepalmed, realizing what Alro was up to, "Goddammit boy." He whispered quietly, with a small smile.

@gracehustle

She nodded in greeting to them and grinned, "What are you guys talking about?" She asked, taking a spot next to Alro and leaning back on the edge of the ship. Reva was trying her best to act like she hadn't overheard their conversation, wanting to see if John and Alro were going to try to get Jerome flustered or if they were just going to tease him endlessly.

group

"Ohhh, you know just talk between men, speaking of which why don't you ask Jerome what we were talking about." John said in a casual but embarrassing voice, peering towards Jerome. Jerome who had now been fidgeting around, looked at John, with one of those screw you looks. "Ah well, uh just talking about the crewmates and the new production. He hadn't expected Reva to join them, so he was already a little flustered. Turning to face the sea, Jerome let out a really quiet sigh. "Well we were talking about some certain crewmates as well." Alro added, smiling.

@gracehustle

"Which ones? This sounds like an interesting conversation." Her grin widened and she looked between the three of them, her eyes sparkling. She knew exactly what she was doing and she gave Alro a small, hidden, thumbs up. "Are we talking about oldie?" She glanced at Lemony, "Or crewmates from my old ship?" She looked at them before turning her attention to Jerome.

group

Alro noticed the thumbs up and snickered quietly. Jerome now had a bright red at his cheeks, even a man as fierce and feared like him, he could still manage to blush. "Uh no one in specifics, just the new crewmates…" A flicker of amusement was seen in Johns eyes, the old man always enjoyed messing with the younger crew, especially Jerome himself. "Well, there was one person in particular we were talking about." He winked at her secretly to clue in he was in on this too.

@gracehustle

She didn't stop grinning at all, "Oh? And who is this crewmate? Mind pointing them out so I can join in on the conversation?" She leaned forward slightly and winked back to John, noting that he knew what they were doing. This was quite fun and she was enjoying it immensely, it made her feel almost at home like on the Blind Doom before it sunk.

group

"Uhhh…" Jerome scratched the back of his neck, clearly trying to find the rights words to speak. It was obvious to anyone, that John and Alro were enjoying every second of it. "Ohhh come on lad, just say their name and make it easy here now." John said in a calm, but amused voice. Alro just sat there, simply grinning widely. "Come on captain, just say their name already." Jerome shook his head and rolled his eyes, "Fine, we were uh, talking about you Reva."

@gracehustle

She leaned back and raised an eyebrow, acting surprised and smirking as she glanced at him, "Is that so captain? Please do tell me what were you talking about?" Getting Jerome flustered was much more fun that she originally had thought and she made a mental note to try to get him flustered more often. Reva pushed her feelings for him as far out of her mind as she could, not wanting to have to bring them up.

group

Alro sat cross legged on the barrel he was on, waiting for the captain to answer. John and him exchanged good job glances and looked back at Jerome. They knew they did an excellent job, they wanted to bring Revas feelings into the mix as well, however they decided not to. "Oh uh well John was just asking what I thought about your performance in the fight." Jerome answered calmly, but clearly a little flustered.

@gracehustle

"And what did you think?" She asked, tilting her head to the side slightly, "Did I do good enough?" Talking about the fight made it come back in her mind and she immediately picked out most of her mistakes, cringing ever so slightly at her stupid mistakes she could have easily fixed if she had thought just a little harder.

group

"I think you did pretty well, considering your first time ever fighting someone like Lemony. The fact you got him to kneel and give up was very impressive to say the least. I dont think ive ever seen someone get Lemony to kneel besides me and John, it was interesting." Jerome said in a calm and this time quiet voice. Slowly he became more comfortable and less flustered. "Bet that's not the only thing that impressed you." Alro whispered, making Jerome smack him upside the head.

@gracehustle

Reva heard Alro's comment and she chuckled lightly, raising an eyebrow, "Are you trying to hide something captain?" Again she shifted around and was leaning forward again, facing Jerome and waiting for his answer with a grin. Slowly her feelings for him tried to make their way back into her mind and she did her best to push them out like before, not succeeding. She huffed internally and ended up just hoping she wasn't put on the spot.

group

Jerome tilted his head and grinned, all of a sudden it was like him being flustered was forgotten, and replaced with the suddenness of confidence. Both John and Alro looked taken aback, surprised by this sudden change in mood. Then it was John who had realized, "So the lad did perhaps know what we were up to then." He whispered quietly to Alro. Jerome ignored their exchange of whispers, and leaned in towards Reva, only about a few inches from her face. "And if I was, Reva?"

@gracehustle

(Sry it's short, I'm super busy)
"Then I'd suggest you tell me captain," Reva said, not leaning away and her grin turned to a smirk. This was still fun even though he had figured out what they were doing and she was going to try her best to get him flustered, for real this time.

group

(Its fine)
In return to her smirk, he gave one as well. He brushed the hair from her ear, leaned in, and whispered, "What good it be to admit your feelings to a girl who clearly has no interest with feelings at all, hm?" Leaning back he stared at her with an unreadable expression. Alro just sat there confused, while John was trying to figure out how Jerome knew what they were doing.

@gracehustle

She sat back and thought for a moment, still smirking. Standing up, she took a step toward him and bent so she was next to him ear, "I never said I had no interest in feelings captain." She whispered before straightening back up and walking off, the smirk growing slightly as she headed to the opposite side of the ship and looked over the water. Saying how she felt about him took all the courage she had and she tried to suppress the fluttery feeling in her stomach that came from whispering those words to him.

group

Jerome grinned broadly, most couldn't tell what he was feeling, but it was obvious right now he looked happy. Alro just sat there, dumbfounded. "Wait so it worked? Did they just? What just happened?" The words came pouring out of his mouth. "To answer all of your questions in a sum boy, yes they just did. Now Jerome go talk to her so I can shut this lad up." John said putting an arm around Alro's shoulders. Jerome got up and walked over to the other side of the ship, next to Reva. Leaning against the side of the ship, he looked at her grinning. "So an interest in feelings eh?"

@gracehustle

"Hm?" She looked over and saw it was him, looking back out over the water, "That's what I said captain, unless you didn't mean what you were saying." Reva grinned and shrugged, the fluttery feeling coming back again. Looking back over at him she started studying him more carefully, hoping that she wasn't staring. "So, how did Alro respond to that?" She asked, chuckling slightly.

group

Tilting his head, he looked at her from the corner of his eye. "I don't ever lie, so that is one thing not to worry about." Jerome chuckled thinking about how Alro reacted, "As for Alro's response, I don't think the boy could have been any more confused than he is now." He gestured towards the other side of the ship pointing to Alro, who had a very confused look on his face.

@gracehustle

She laughed and nodded, looking over at the boy, "He does look quite confused, he'll figure it out though." Reva rolled her shoulder and sighed slightly, "What do you and your crew play for do for fun around here? Is your ship always this boring?" Talking to him wasn't boring but she wanted to see what his response would be, maybe it would be something good.

group

Jerome moved his hair that was once again out of place, and in his face. (Woah that rhymed) "It isnt always this boring, but it gets like this from time to time. The lads always have contests. Like drinking, fighting, singing, ya know." He sighed with a smile. "That or we will just sit and listen to the sirens on calm nights, them singing of their sorrows. Pretty depressing to be truthful, but we especially have fun when we dock."

@gracehustle

"Your crew sounds like a less rowdy bunch than mine," She said, "Don't you guys play games? Balance on the edge of the ship and push each other in? Toss around weapons and try to give them back to the correct people while drunk?" Reva's eyes sparkled with memories of fun times and laughing, looking over at jerome, "Those are just a few examples of a good time on my ship."

group

"Ohhh no trust me they play games a lot, I just don't partake in most." He watched her talk about her old memories, seeming to be happy. Looking up to the sky, you could see a flicker of happiness in his eyes. "My ship wasnt always good, not until I became captain at least." His eyes became emotionless at the mention of it.

@gracehustle

She nodded, "Isn't every ship like that? It always has a not so good time in its history." She leaned against the side of the ship and looked out over the water for a moment before standing up straight and looking over at Jerome, "Well captain, I'm ready to goof around so I'm going to go find some crewmates that want to play a game or two unless you have something else that will keep me from getting bored."

group

Jerome shrugged, "I suppose it's like that with every ship, it was just a worse situation with my ship." He cracked his neck and knuckles and stood straight up like her. "Have fun goofing off, I have a certain ´time passer´ of my own I like to do." Starting for one of the lifeboats he turned around and looked back at her. "Oh and, have fun looking for a man willing to play some sort of game, they're not that cooperative with hangovers." He grinned and continued on his way.

@gracehustle

Reva rolled her eyes, a small grin tugging at her lips, "I know that captain, If I can't get any of them to goof off then I'll find something to do, maybe take advantage of my prize and disappear into my temporary quarters." Nodding one last time at him she spun on her heel and started towards a group or crewmates, trying to talk a few of them into goofing around. There were no takers but she didn't give up, moving onto the next few crewmates and talking to them.

group

Jerome chuckled, he hoped she would realize it was most likely no would goof around with her tonight. At least, not with hangovers. Going to one of the lifeboats he carefully began untying the ropes to it to let it down in the sea. Alro, who had since then finally caught on to the events from earlier, walked up beside Jerome. "Oh you're not going down there again are you captain?" He said in a almost annoyed voice. "Psh lighten up boy, i'll be fine, this time." Jerome said dismissively waving Alro away.

@gracehustle

No one took her up on her offer and she huffed, scanning the deck to see if there was anyone she missed. She could talk to Alro but she decided against it, figuring it would probably lead to a discussion about her and Jerome. "Quarters it is.." Reva said to herself, glancing at the mast and stopping, "..Or should I climb the mast?" A small grin spread on her face and she stopped to think, weighing the two options carefully.

group

Alro frowned at the captain, "Cap you said you would be careful last time, don't you remember what happened?" Jerome rolled his eyes, remembering the memory of what had happened to him last time. "Aren't you the boy here? And I the captain? Shoo shoo, go bother someone else, I promise i'll be careful." Before Alro could respond, Jerome hopped into the lifeboat and lowered himself to the sea. "Great, now if the same thing happens again Lemony will yell at me." Alro complained while walking off across the deck.
