Rykah and Will(because I can't think of a better title)

While Rykah and Anna has been scolded by Jack and Will, Dalton had shrunk away, down the stairs and out of sight.
“Kids, Jack’s leaving on Friday.”
(I can’t remember what day it is now.)

Rykah kept his eyes on Will, knowing he had crossed a line.

“Thanks, Mom.” Jack said, grabbing Anna’s hand and pulling him up the stairs, Will quickly doing the same with Rykah.
Will dragged Rykah into his room, closing the door; Jack did the same down the hall.
“What was that, Rykah?” Will asked quietly.

"I- I don't know…" said Rykah, "I don't know what came over me.."

“Do not do that again. Please.” Will said, tensed up.

"I won't" Said Rykah, sitting down on the floor, "I'm sorry Will…"

“I know you’re sorry.” Will said, sitting down next to him.

Rykah didn't know what to say, he never meant to act that way.

“No murder, for any reason, Rykah.”

"Right… Like I'd ever be able to do it anyway…." said Rykah, "I don't think I could kill even if I wanted to…."

“Ok, then new rule: no talking about murder in a remotely serious manner.”

"Right" said Rykah softly, scooting a bit closer to Will

“I love you, Rykah.”

"And I love you. More than anything" said Rykah his ears perking up a little.

“Can’t beat that, now can I?”

"Yeah I guess you can't" said Rykah with a smirk.

Will smiled. “Now we know you wont commit a crime, let’s jsut hope Anna won’t.”

"yeah" said Rykah sheepishly.

“Don’t feel bad, Rykah. You apologized, it’s over.”

"Right…." said Rykah… still a bit uneasy.

Will wrapped the other boy in a hug.

Rykah melted into it, finally knowing it was all ok.

“I’m not mad at you Rykah.”

Rykah pressed into Will, "i thought you might be…." he said softly,

“I’m not. Don’t worry about it.”

"yeah.." said Rykah twisting to look up at Will.

“It’s really ok.”

"mmhmm" said Rykah, snuggling into Will's lap.

“I promise.”
