Rykah and Will(because I can't think of a better title)

"Thank you." said Rykah, smiling weakly,

“I love you, Rykah.” Will said firmly.

"love you too" said Rykah, finally relaxing, his head having ended up in Will's lap.

Will put his hand on Rykah’s shoulder and leaned his head back, closing his eyes.
(If I suddenly drop off the face of the planet, I’m about to leave for a dinner I don’t want to go to, so that’s why)

(okay… do you know when it ends?)
Rykah watched Will, his tail flicking gently.

(Oof….. it’s a family thing, so no telling. Probably two or three hours from now.)
“I hope Jack’s okay.” Will whispered to himself.

(Ok.)
"He'll be alright" said Rykah, "As far as I know military school doesn't change much between worlds. And it's not actually that bad…."

“The last time we left Jack alone for more than a month, he literally started four fights, broke his wrist and his nose, and almost got arrested. Twice.” Will said. “I can’t imagine how he’ll react to military school, espcially when he’s being told what to do.”

"As long as he can manage to stay on the good side of the right people…." Rykah trailed off. "He'll be ok…"

(Still here for about an hour ..)

“Yeah. I’m sure he will.” Will strongly doubted that he would, but didn’t want to argue forever, so smiled.
(Sorry, I just now got done.)

Rykah smiked, not wanting to press the other boy.

(It was actually pretty cool, we got pizza and looked at pictures from our trip with my grandparents)
“I’m really, really tired.” Will sighed.

(Nice!)
Rykah pulled an arm around Will, "shall we get up and go find a bed then?" He asked softly.

“Definitely.” Will replied.

Rykah sat up, letting Will up as he got to his feet.

“You know, it’s ridiculous that I keep getting so tired.” Will said, ending is sentence with a yawn.

"Well it is getting pretty late" said Rykah, closing the door when they got to Will's room, pulling off his shirt and letting his feathers ruffle, before going to pull out the sleeping bag from before.

“You can sleep up here, Rykah. If you want.” Will said, climbing in bed.

Rykah gave him a look, "nah I'm good" he said it slowly, seriously wanting to take up the offer.

“You sure?”

"No" said Rykah honestly. "But Id end up clingjng to you again…."

“It’s fine, Ry.”

Rykah sighed flopping on the end of Will's bed using the sleeping bag as a blanket as he curled up.

“I love you, Rykah.”

"I love you the most" said Rykah sleepily pressing up on Wills feet.

“If you say so, Rykah.” Will was too tired to argue.

Rykah eventually fell asleep, his feathers ruffled, and his hair soon a mess as he lay curled up aginst Will's feet.

Will woke up early, as to be expected. Remembering that Rykah had asked to sleep in, he quietly and subtly got up and went downstairs. He started the coffee maker, making himself a cup. He wasn’t sure when Rykah would be up, and doubted the other boy would want a cup of cold coffee.

Rykah slept peacefully, curled up on Will's bed. His tail qas messed up along with everything else, but he was still asleep.
