Rykah and Will(because I can't think of a better title)

Will went back upstairs after his coffee, also after attempting to eat an apple, which tasted disgusting after the coffee.

Rykah had managed to twist himself into the sleeping bag as he slept. His right wing stuck out and his head was half buried. His bare feet were sticking out, as was the tip of his tail. His ears twitched a little as he slept, but otherwise there qas no movement.

Will looked at his alarm clock. 7:30. How long was Rykah going to sleep?”

Rykah twitched and yawned, rolling over as he went to go back to sleep before opening one eye and grinning at Will.

“You awake, or just teasing me?”

"I'm awake… ish…" said Rykah sitting up regretfully.

Will smiled. “Wow.”

"What?" Asked Rykah sleepily, scratching an ear and pulling his hair somewhat in order.

“I still have no idea how you sleep in.”

"You just sleep" answered Rykah, scooting to the edge of the bed ignoring the fact that some of his feathers stuck out in weird ways, and his tail was poofy.

“I’ve never been too good at that.”

(I have to go for the night)

"Oh well" said Rykah, yawning again. "So whatcha wanna do now?"

(Ok! See you tommorrow!)

“I’m gonna go checkup on Jack, and then I don’t know. Think about while I’m gone.” Will disappeared down the hall for a second.

Rykah nodded, resisting the urge to flop. What shall we do today? he thought, fluffing his feathers so they would straighten out.

Jack was somewhat unwilling to talk. Will understood why, so gave his brother a hug, a quick “It’s going to be ok.”, and then left.

Rykah manged to get his feathers straightened out, although they were still messy looking, and waited for Will to come back.

Will opened the door back up, “Hey.”

Rykah smiled, "I still have no clue what to do" he said.

“You want coffee?”

"Sure" said rykah, getting to his feet.

Will went back downstairs and began making another coffee.

Rykah got up and followed Will downstairs, smoothing his feathers as he went.

Will handed Rykah a cup of hot coffee, smiling.

Rykah took it, sipping slowly, yawning once again as he sat down.

Will smiled st him, while making himself a second cup.

"Ironic that you're a mirning person who likes coffee to wake up" said Rykah.

“I like the taste.”

"You've got a point there" said Rykah with a chuckle.
