Rykah and Will(because I can't think of a better title)

Anna ducked away again st that, Jack rolling his eyes. Will smiled at the other three. His favorite people, all in one room.

Rykah muttered annoyedly under his breath as he tried to straighten his feathers so they'd lie flat.

“Want help?” Will whispered to Rykah.

Rykah looked up, "Yeah that would be nice.." he said sheepishly,

Will mucked Rykah’s movements from earlier, while Jack pauses the tv and left for a moment, saying something about checking on a Anna.

Rykah tensed a little when Will touched his wings again, but forced himself to relax as he gently showed Will how to straighten the layers of feathers so they lay flat-ish.

“I think you’re good, Rykah.” Will said once he was done.

Rykah had been a little tense the whole time, but smiled, "Thanks Will." he said, wanting to melt.

Will pulled Rykah back so he could put his arm around him. Jack and Anna both chose this moment to silently come back and turn the tv on.

Rykah literally melted this time, happily leaning into Will.

Will kisses Rykah’s cheek, smiling. The opening theme played for the sixth or seventh time that day.

Rykah blushed, melting even further, before reaching up to peck Will, not really wanting to move from his position.

Anna and Jack got into an argument about something half way through the episode, although it wasn’t too serious, because they were both laughing and elbowing each other.

Rykah was completely ignoring the episode by now, just enjoying the human interaction, and the feeling of content safety.

Jack glanced at his phone and raised his eyebrows in surprise. “It’s already 3:30, jeez.”

Rykah looked up, "Who cares… not like we had any plans anyway" he said.

“I don’t care, it’s just crazy that it’s already 3:30.”

Rykah settled back down, "I guess it is kinda crazy"

“This has been the least chaotic day I’ve had in the last two months.” Will said, smiling.

"My life's always been chaos…" said Rykah, "Ever since that day…."

Will squeezes Rykah’s shoulder gently.

Rykah leans into his touch, Wanting more of it, but also not wanting to move.

Will smiled. “Love you.” He whispered, so that his siblings couldn’t hear.

Rykah blushed, snuggling up to Will happily.

Will turned his attention back to the screen.

Rykah sighed in contentment, wishing this could last forever.

The four kids sat and watched two more episodes, and by the time thy were done, it was 6:30 and time for dinner.

Rykah shifted a little as his tummy growled, "Are we gonna get food soon?" he asked sleepily.

“Mom won’t be home until late tonight. I’ll order us pizza. What kind do you want, Rykah?” Jack said.
“Hey, What about me and Will?!” Anna asked.
“I know what you two want!” Jack exclaimed.

"Anything's fine" said Rykah, "I'm just hungry…" he said it happily, not really wanting anything more than food, and to stay forever.
