Skye noticed the reaction, and pulled his hands away, noting it for later.

Lucas looked up at Skye, who was holding his wrists, with a very flushed face. His tail still wagged softly.

"Don't bite yourself…" he said softly.

"I-I'm not trying to hurt myself…" He looked down, feeling a bit guilty.

"I know.. but It's not a good habit to get into" he said gently.

Lucas nodded, blushing a little harder and still avoiding eye contact. His wrists trembled a bit in Skye's grasp.

Skye let go of his wrists, hugging him.

Lucas returned to more or less the same position he'd been in before, although his arms were around Skye's chest this time so his wrists would be out of reach.

Skye hummed softly, hugging him.

Lucas's ear flicked and his tail started slowly wagging again. He seemed content, for once.

Skye reached up to scratch behind his ears.

Lucas smiled and leaned into Skye's hand. Yeah, it still feels good…

Skye smiled at his reaction, not reading his thoughts at the moment.

His tail thumped against the ground, and he opened his eyes to look up at Skye. He honestly just looked even cuter with dog ears.

Skye felt his heart melt at the adorableness of the other.

"Are you okay, Skye?" Lucas cocked his head slightly to the side, confused.

"Fine, just trying to comprehend how anyone can be that adorable.."

Lucas blushed and looked down, hugging Skye tightly. Although he was being shy, his tail betrayed his real feelings.

Skye smiled, kissing his forehead.

"I-I'm not that cute, am I…?"

"Yes you are"

"Nooo…" Lucas gripped the fabric of Skye's shirt, hiding his face in the other's chest.

Skye laughed, "Adorable.

"I'm not cute…" Lucas mumbled through Skye's shirt, turning his ears back. He couldn't stop his tail though.

Skye laughed, "The tail betrays you…"

Lucas glanced back at his tail. "God dammit…"

Skye laughed, "The betrayal of your own tail…"

"I can't stop it from doing that…" Lucas hugged Skye tighter.

Skye laughed, "That's alright.."

I'm not that cute… he's the cute one… He hid his face again.
