Lucas moved closer to Skye in his sleep, his body seeming to like the warmth. As beaten up as this place was, it felt much safer than his house ever had.
Soulmate(?) one on one (Closed)
Skye felt bad that he couldn't offer the other more, wishing he had a home, or a job so he could actually provide for him. But no. All he had was an aching pain of hunger that never truly went away, and a record of thievry that started when he was ten.
(Should we time skip to when they're awake?)
(yeah)
Lucas woke up the next morning to find himself cuddled up with Skye. He was startled and confused at first, but once he realized what was going on, he relaxed a bit and just accepted that it was happening.
Skye slept on, though lightly, as if he would wake at any second.
"S-Skye…?" Lucas whispered softly. Is he awake? Hard to tell, but he seems pretty close to it either way…
Skye stirred with a sleepy hum. "Mmm?"
"Sorry…" Skye brushed against Lucas's neck and he shivered a bit. That feels strange, and… tingly. But not necessarily bad.
Skye looked up at him, not quite awake, "Hullo…."
"Er… h-hi? Are you okay?" Lucas looked up at Skye, vaguely worried. "Y-You're not acting normal…"
Skye rubbed at his eyes, "Just sleepy is all… nothing serious…"
"Oh, that's good…" Lucas yawned and lay his head back down. "M-My dad hasn't come yet, right?"
Skye shook his head, "No… he hasn't and if he does he's not getting you.." he said, spooning him.
What's he doing? "O-Okay…" Lucas was a bit tense, but mostly unsure what was happening. He'd never had physical contact like this before.
Skye had pressed against the other's back, his arms locked around the other's waist as he felt asleep again.
"Skye…?" Lucas glanced over his shoulder nervously. "What's… w-what's going on?"
Skye pulled back some, "Just hugging you…" he mumbled, still half asleep.
Lucas trembled a bit, trying to make himself comfortable with the situation. "Is this… normal?" He asked quietly, looking at the cloth on the mattress.
Skye pulled back and watched him, trying to rub sleep out of his eyes, "Kinda yes, but if you're not comfortable then I'll stop…" he said gently.
"N-No… it's okay, I-I'm just… not used to it, is all…" Lucas could feel Skye on his neck again and his face flushed.
Skye nodded, lying back down again and pulling him close, "If you're not comfortable please just tell me… I don't want you ever to feel uncomfortable around me…"
"Alright… I-I'm just not really familiar with touch that… uh… d-doesn't hurt…"
Skye frowned, tightening his hold a little.
After a couple minutes of getting himself used to the idea, Lucas finally managed to relax a bit and just let Skye do whatever he was doing.
Skye hugged him gently, arms around the other's waist as he hugged him from behind.
Relax, relax, relax… I don't think this is aggressive behavior. Lucas lay his head down on the mattress again. His hair was pretty fluffy at this point, and surprisingly clean considering his situation.
Skye was ready to fall asleep again, simply being with the other.
Marco slammed the door open and walked in. (Gotta ruin everything of course) "Rise and shine, everybody!" Lucas sat up with a start, his heart pounding out of his chest. Calm down, calm down, calm down! Stop hyperventilating! "Ah, shit. Forgot about that. Sorry Luke."
Skye sat up with a low groan, glaring at his friend. "Why?" he asked.
