Katsumi just stares at her. "I- you know what? Fine. Let's see how this goes. Zenith probably needs to learn this lesson, anyway."
Zenith cuddles closer to Evelyn. "What lesson?"
Katsumi shakes her head as she walks away. "You'll find out."
"The lesson of heartbreak I'm assuming. She's a bitch for thinking of I'll hurt you that bad." She growled out,glowering at her back,and nuzzling him.

"What's heartbreak? I've heard John use the term before, but I don't know what it means." Zenith admits somewhat sheepishly.
"The worst feeling in the world. It can take many forms and there are even stages of it. Everyone processes it differently. It's the emotion you feel when someone very dear,loved,and close to you whether family, but usually lover,goes away. Leaves you. I've felt it…to many times to count. It's why I don't love. Not truly. Oh I'll kiss and hug and fuck but I don't fall. Don't plan futures or think of baby names. I wait for them to leave. I have never broken up with anybody. I wait for them to commit. And then I do. It's how I save myself. Now that's unhealthy though and a bad way to look at life. Don't do that to yourself. Why do I do it to myself? Only way to save me. Oh you'll calm me perfect. But wait till you know me. All of me. My story my cuts my bruises what makes me angry,why I do the things I do. You'll leave. You'll leave because you're afraid just like every other person who has tried to love me. Afraid of what? Commitment. No one wants to commit to a relationship. No one is serious in their reen years. Everyone is partying their lives away and hoping it'll work out. So am I. It's depressing but it's all true. And you deserve the truth." She nodded once and then took a few breaths after her long speech.

Zenith blinks. "But then what's the point? Isn't- Look, I don't know a lot about love. Hardly anything, in fact. But I don't think that's how it works. Love- love isn't something you can hide or ignore. A relationship isn't something you just 'not commit' to. It's all or nothing. You care or you don't. You love or you leave. And trust me when I say that I won't leave. When you start something, you don't leave it alone. You don't line up a shot and then not shoot. You don't start a fight and then surrender right before you win. You're either in or you're out. And- and while I may not know a lot about this kind of stuff, but- but I think- I-" He looks down. "I think I already fell. And I don't plan on getting up."
She blushed and looked at him with wide eyes, and sat there silently. "I…I love you too…but many have done that. It's how the world works. People don't commit. There's flings and fuck buddies and cheaters and liars out there. The world is full of pain. But you aren't. And I'm telling you I'm full of pain. And I'll cause you a lot of pain… Just don't make decisions you'll regret or try not to,when you can." She nodded. "I'm just trying to save you. That's all."

Zenith smiles. "I don't need to be saved." Even though they're already half-snuggling, he holds her tighter against him. And then under his breath, he murmurs, "And even if I did, I don't think I'd want to."
She blushed and suddenly leaned up,kissing his lips softly. Gently,almost afraid of breaking him hurting him. She hoped she wouldn't.

Zenith blinks, surprised, but kisses her back. After, there's a pause.
Zenith doesn't do well with breaks in a conversation.
"Y'know, it's kinda funny."
She sat there in his arms, and looked at him. "… what?"

"You talk about pain a lot to the guy who's been tortured most of his life." Although his words are somewhat sharp, his tone is playful, and he wears a small smile.
She shrugged. "Physical pain doesn't break a man as hard as a shattered heart can." She says simply, knowingly, cuddling in closer to him. "Trust me. I should know."

Zenith frowns. "Huh." He cuddles closer as well. "I'll have to keep that in mind."
"You have quite a bit to keep on mind, love." She smiled a bit, and kissed him softly again, not wanting to push him too far. Cause to much harm.

"I've learned a lot today." Zenith agrees. "I'm probably not going to remember it all."
"You better." She sassed, glaring up at him, before getting a phone call. She sighed and grabbed her hand. "Hello? Oh hellooooo nurse! Uhuh. Oh. SHIT! No it-okay. Yeah. I'll be over there right away, thank you." She sighed. "I gotta go to the hospital. My brother got into a car crash." She slowly wiggled out of his arms.

Zenith lets her go, getting to his feet himself. "My blood has healing properties and it's O negative." He tells her. He doesn't really like the idea of needles, or letting people take his blood, but it's a relative of Evelyn's….
"No it's fine. Stay here." She got up, and got all of her stuff together.

Zenith frowns. He grabs the knife and puts more of his blood in a vial before pressing it into her hands. "Here. Just in case." There, now he doesn't have to worry about needles or doctors.
She took it, smiled, and stuck it in her pocket. "Alright fine. Would you like to come with?"

Zenith scratches the back of his neck. "Do you want me too?" He's never been very good at making decisions.
"I don't really care either way." She said as she opened his window, looked down at the ground, and back at him. "Ya know, you're family doesn't seem to like me very much. Anyways, I gotta head. So." She shrugged and waved. "See ya sugar." And then she leapt out the window.

Zenith hesitates a moment. Should he follow? She said 'see ya', which implies goodbye, but she also said she didn't care…
The teen decides to stay there, and sits back down. He opens the dating app and sends a quick message.
'My family has bad taste then. I'll see you later?'
(Hey don't feel bad it's okay! I get it! I usually give a few day or even a week before bumping something. I get busy to, it's fine!) 'Whaddya mean bad taste?' She asked as she ran into the hospital and headed up to her brothers room, worried sick. 'And we'll see.'

'Anyone who doesn't like you has to have bad taste. But I'll let you go see your brother. :)' Is the smiley face too much? He feels like maybe the smiley face was too much.
She laughed. 'You're WAY to sweet. Thank ya.' She spent the day there once her family had long gone, caring for him, talking and enjoying his company. The two were always close, even if they were polar opposites.

(Okay so Zenith is a merc right? I'm thinking it would be cool if Zenith gets hired to kill Evelyn or someone she knows and then flips out about it. Earlier Evelyn mentioned that she kills people for a living too, so maybe they could get hired to take each other down! That sound cool or do you want to stick to romance?)
