The Innocent and the Bad Boy (CLOSED)

He smiled softly at her, "Yeah, you are. It's a good thing, though."

"Oh, good," she sighed, looking relieved.

"Why wouldn't it be a good thing?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Uh… I don't know," she replied quietly.

Colton smiled and kissed her for a moment, "Well you don't need to worry about it."

Paige liked the feel of his lips on hers. She held onto the feeling as best she could.

He was about to say something else when the bell rang for next period, "We should go to class."

Paige bit her lip. She hadn't been going to classes all day. Why should she go now?

Colton narrowed his eyes at her, "You haven't been going to class, have you? Paige don't turn into me, please."

Paige blushed and tucked a piece of her hair behind her ear slowly. Her lunch still remained untouched.

"And you haven't eaten either," Colton frowned, "Paige that's not good for you."

Her gaze remained steadily on her knees. Her life had always been shattered, but now the pieces were finally breaking off.

Colton lifted her gaze to make her look at him, "What's going on?"

"Nothing," she mumbled. If there was one thing she absolutely sucked at, it was lying.

"Liar," Colton ran a hand through her hair, "Please tell me…"

She gasped lightly. It felt good… so good that she nearly lost her train of thought. "Uh… nothing?" she repeated, definitely less sure this time.

"Paige…" Colton said gently, looking at her worriedly, "Please…"

Her stomach twisted in her nervousness. "I'm just not hungry."

"There's something else going on. I'm sorry if I'm being pushy but I'm just worried…" Colton admitted.

"Colton, I'm just not hungry right now," she said quietly.

Colton sighed and looked away, "Fine. But if this keeps happening then I'll ask again."

Paige nodded and looked away again.

Colton sighed and stood, "C'mon, we have class."

"I'm not going," she whispered.

"Why not?"

"I haven't gone all day, why go now?" she asked. She was watching the fish swim in the pond. Her stomach growled, but she still did not eat.

"Paige, it's not like you to skip class," Colton frowned at her, "You're stomach growled, eat."

“Not hungry,” she repeated.

"How about this, I won't skip school for the rest of the week and do all my homework if you eat your lunch everyday." He offered.

"I'm just not hungry, Colton," she insisted quietly. "If you're going to class, you should leave or you'll be late."
