The Man and His Assistant (CLOSED)

Their seatbelts were already on and the flight attendant announced that they were landing. He looked over at Robin and said, "Landing is fun too."

Robin smiled anxiously. If landing was as fun as taking off was… Her hands gripped the armrests tightly.

Isaac smiled excitedly. Landing was his favorite part. It was fun and meant they were there. He put his hand over hers again. Even though she didn't need him to this time, it was for him.

She felt his hand cover hers and blushed shyly.

She was blushing. He took a deep breath. It doesn't matter idiot! The planed landed with a bump that threw them off.

She gasped and tensed anxiously as the plane landed.

"It's okay.", he whispered. They came to a stop and unbuckled.

Robin's fingers were shaking a little, so it took her a couple tries to unbuckle. Calm down!

She was visibly shaking. He wasn't sure how to comfort her, but gave his best shot. "I get it. It can be scary the first time. A lot of things can be."

She looked over at him. "I don't know if I could've handled it without you," she murmured quietly.

Isaac looked surprised. "T-thanks…", he said, his eyes wide. His heart was beating fast. "I'm glad you were with me. It made it special."

She blushed. Special? "W-We should get going…"

More blushing. He was embarrassed. "Right.", he muttered. They were one of the few people left.

Slowly, she stood up and stepped out into the aisle.

He followed her and took his carry-on out from under his chair. "We'll get our suitcases back inside."

She nodded and fingered her purse. "Ready?"

"Yep!" They walked down the aisle. "Goodbye!", the flight attendant said. He said goodbye back and stepped onto the platform once again.

Robin smiled. "Goodbye." She followed Isaac closely as they stepped into the airport, not wanting to get lost.

"Baggage claim is a level below us. Better get going!", he said briskly.

She easily matched his step.

They took an escalator down to get their bags. He sighed. "Every time I ride an escalator or a elevator I think of my cousin August. Funny kid…"

"And why is that?" she asked curiously.

(… August?)

(Yep! They're related!)
He chuckled. "He's in high school now, but still a child by heart. I love having him over."

(XD What if Kate and Robin were? Lol)

"I don't remember ever hearing of him before," she said thoughtfully.

(That'd be funny!)
"Yes.", he said sadly. "He lives across the country. I've been to busy to bring him to the mansion. It's too bad. He would brighten up my day." They got off the escalator and made their way to the baggage carousel.

She thought about what he was saying and followed him to the baggage carousel. "I'm sure he would."

"It's fine. You're brighten up my day too." He smiled and made eye contact.

This sent a shock of electricity down her spine and she looked at him with wide eyes. "I-I do?"
