The Watergirl and her Fireboy (One on one) [OPEN - reboot, I guess?]

She shrugged. "No problem," she replied, bumping her shoulder against his arm.

He let out a small laugh "oh and thanks for this," he leaned closer to her and brushed a small kiss on her cheek

She blushed fiercely. "Oh. Y-You're welcome."

He blushed "so what did we get for chem?" He asked trying to change the subject before he did or said something stupid

He was just going to let that go? She hid her disappointment well. "Just some worksheets," she replied simply.

"that's it? wow ok." they arrived at there spot. he turned to her and smiled, not sure what to say

"Yeah," she said, nearly a whisper. "I, uh, have your backpack."

"thanks, you didn't have to do that," he said with a grateful smile. he looked into her eyes with warmth before turning and walking a few feet away. Taking off his shirt, he stuffed it in the bag and relaxed, breathing and exhaling, while looking up at the sky

Marina leaned against the trunk of the tree, suddenly feeling extremely tired from using so much of her powers against Jackson. Her eyes closed and she felt herself becoming heavy.

Cas slowly was engulfed in flames, his entire body was alright with his fire. Turning around to face Marina, he saw her collapse and walked over to her. Gently cradling her head in his arms, he layed against the tree, carefully not to burn it. He wrapped his fire around her in a warm embrace. "My dear water girl." He said affectionately in her ear

"Mmm…" Marina hummed softly. "My fire boy…"

He chuckled in surprise "always yours." the warmth radiating off his body, even as his fire went out. "how are you feeling?" he asked gently

"Tired," she replied, a small smile forming.

He laughed again "that's expected when you use all your energy, trying to scare Jackson off." he looked down at her and tightened his grip protectively

She felt him tense up a little. "What is it?"

He shook his head and smiled "nothing."

"Liar," she muttered.

he chuckled "see through me like glass." He smiled "Is it wrong for me to want to hold you?" his grip loosened

She flushed a little. "No…" she whispered sleepily.

He tightened his grip again "sleep my water girl, I won't let anyone hurt you." he promised "ever."

"What if Jackson comes back? You can't let yourself loose control."

"He won't. with what you showed him back there, I don't think he'll mess with us for a while now. Now rest my love" he whispered

"Love?" she murmured, already half-asleep.

"that is a name you call the person your in love with right?" He smiled "now sleep," he slid into his back, so that she was on top of him and stroked her hair gently

Marina was too tired to object. After the first stroke, she was asleep.

Cas looked down to find her asleep. He started to him an old tune he knew and fell asleep, placing a protective hand on her back

After an hour or so, Marina blinked herself awake. She giggled when she saw Cas was asleep too. She inched forward and kissed his chin. "Wake up, sleepy head."

He groaned and smiled "But I'm having the best dream ever," he protested, not opening his eyes
