"Simple. I'm not." He said, offhandedly.
Time After Time (One on One) {OPEN}
"You don't think they'll notice your crutches for two months?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Well, seeing as I don't live with them, I doubt they will." He said, shrugging.
"Oh." She blinked. "Okay, that makes sense. Anyway." She cleared her throat, not knowing what to say.
"Yeah." He said, a bit awkwardly.
Lulu pressed her lips together, her gaze darting awkwardly from the door, to Eric, to the floor, and back again.
"So, what happened with your family?" He asked, looking up.
"What about them?" She said, snapping her gaze back to Eric.
((what color are his eyes btw))
((Probably brown))
"How'd they react?" He asked, adjusting his position.
She simply shook her head. "I just hid my arm. Long-sleeve shirt and stuff. They didn't need to know, or else they'd probably have called the fire department eighteen times by now."
He nodded. "Least ya didn't get in trouble."
"Would you have gotten in trouble?" She asked, tilting her head again.
"Dunno. Parents are weird." He said, offhandedly.
She nodded, leaning back some. "Yeah, I get that."
((Time skip to when he gets out?))
((yeah))
Eric grinned as he finally walked out- or rather awkwardly hobbled. The brace they ended up giving him was a bit awkward and cumbersome, but he was finally allowed to leave and get to work on their stuff.
"My car's just over here," Lulu directed him towards a teal jeep in the parking lot. "We'll go back to the studio, and…I don't know, look for stuff. Maybe they got something on the security cameras."
Eric nodded, trailing after her. "Alright, let's go!"
Lulu helped him into the car, shutting her own door behind her and starting the engine. "How do we go about asking to look at security camera footage?"
"We could say we lost a songbook and want to make sure someone didn't take it." He suggested, biting his lip.
She nodded, pulling out of the parking lot. "That sounds reasonable. What…what do we do if we actually find anything? Download it onto a hard drive or something?"
"I think I might have one in my guitar case." He offered. "We'd just have to stop by that room."
“Okay.” She nodded, pulling onto the highway.
He hummed, left hand fingers moving into chord progressions.
She glanced over at him periodically, smiling to herself at his actions. Eventually, the teal jeep pulled into the studio parking lot.
Eric looked up, shuddering slightly. "Kinda weird being back here…" He mumbled.
She nudged him lightly, smiling. “We’ll be fine this time. Just don’t yell.”
"Got it." He said, nodding before getting out.
Lulu followed after him, humming a little as she opened the door for Eric.
