Trenton shakily hung the torch back on the wall before sitting down and sulking by the spring.
TiredOtter? One on One?
"Here's your food dude. I also got you an apple. It's not as fancy as your castle food, but it's healthy…"
Trent took the food from Blair, silently cursing himself when he realized his hands were still shaking.
"Okay. Don't die. I'm going to go wash the soot off of me." Blair said, standing up.
“No promises.” He grumbled quietly, starting to tear into the meat.
"Welp, you do you." Blair said with a shrug, walking further into the back caves.
(What should we do to make them have a bit of romance?)
Trenton ignored him, quietly eating his apple.
(We’ll Trent is cold and tired. He’d probably cuddle if Blair coaxed him back onto the couch)
Blair came back a few minutes later, his jacket back on his shoulders. He didn't really need the jacket, as demons could not feel temperatures, but still, he would do anything for the aesthetic.
After Trent finished eating, he remained by the spring, occasionally flinching when a scorpion got to close. Otherwise, the prince had been reduced to silent sulking.
"Are you honestly going to sulk all night?" Blair asked, raising an eyebrow with a lazy smirk on his face. He was intrigued by this prince, quite intrigued.
Trent pouted and refused to turn around, remaining silent.
"Hmph. You do realize that when I go to sleep the fires will go out. I would suggest getting warm while you can.."
Trenton rather dramatically got up, still refusing to respond, and sat down on the couch near the flames.
"Welp, night!" Blair exclaimed cheerfully, throwing a blanket over his head and closing his eyes like the nerd he is.
“Hey!” Trenton got up and took the blanket away from Blair, his eyes narrowed. “Absolutely not. I’m cold. That fire is staying on. And I’m taking this.” He wrapped the blanket around his shoulders, stalking back towards his spot.
"Nope! The blanket is mine!" Blair said jumping down and grabbing the blanket again. He jumped back up to the chair and sat right at the top.
“You don’t even need it!” A spark showed up in Trenton’s eyes as he grew almost playful in nature. He raced back over the Blair trying to climb his way up to steal back the blanket.
"Nuuuu! It's soft!" Blair hissed, batting away Trenton's hand away from him.
Trent straight up climbed onto Blair’s lap. “That blanket is mine.”
"Nu-uh. Mine." Blair exclaimed, lifting the blanket high above the shorter man's head.
Trent grabbed onto Blair’s shoulder and tried to stand, but a sudden jolt of pain forced him to sit back down on Blair’s lap again, gritting his teeth. “I’m wounded. I need the blanket.”
"Nope! It's my blankey, I made it so it's mine!" Blair exclaimed, wrapping it around his hand tighter.
“Should’ve thought about that before you kidnapped me!” Trent made himself comfortable, pressing his back against Blair’s chest. He fully intended on sitting here until Blair gave him what he wanted.
"Meh, I'm going to sleep." Blair said, putting the blanket around his shoulders and still keeping a stone grip on it..
Trent reached his arms around Blair’s neck, grabbing onto the blanket as well. “Not so fast.” He hissed, his sharp brown eyes glaring unflinchingly into the demon’s eyes. It took all his resolve to avoid getting distracted by the flecks of green and gold.
Blair looked shocked for a second before a wide, wicked grin spread across his face. He latched his arms around Trentons middle, pulling him into a hug.
Trent made a startled yelping noise as he was pulled into a hug. “Are… Are you hugging me?” He didn’t exactly sound angry. Confused, definitely. A bit grateful for the warmth, but would never dare to admit that. He didn’t make any attempt to pull back either.
"Yes, you are now unable to move, which means I win!" Blair crooned happily, he loved winning.
“What? Yes I—“ Trent started to squirm backwards, releasing the blanket. He was hit with the realization he was stuck when he couldn’t move any further back than Blair’s hands allowed. “You’re a foul beast.”
"That is what a demon is, non?" Blair said with a triumphant smile, setting his head down on top of Trenton's, kinda like a puppy.
