Lucas’s pout deepened, but then he sighed and handed the spatula over to his girlfriend.
“I’ll buy some more eggs later…” he grumbled.
Lucas’s pout deepened, but then he sighed and handed the spatula over to his girlfriend.
“I’ll buy some more eggs later…” he grumbled.
"Lucas, it's okay. Don't pout about this," Ashley said, giving him a soft smile and pressing their lips together for a moment. "Love you."
“I wanted to cook for you, though,” he continued to pout.
“You can help me cook now if you want,” Ashley suggested with a shrug. “I’m sorry, but I’m not eating that egg…”
Lucas rolled his eyes.
“I’m not even going make you eat it,” he said in reply. “There’s literally not even anything to eat from it.”
Ashley chuckled softly and grabbed the plate, then walked over to the trash can and threw the egg away.
“So, anyway… What do you want to eat, my amazing boyfriend?” she asked, turning back to him with a grin.
Lucas watched his lump of black hardwork fall into the trash with a betrayed look in his eyes.
You betrayed me, egg…
“I was hoping for some toast and eggs…”
“Then we’ll do toast and eggs. Did you happen to make toast yet?” Ashley wondered as she grabbed a few eggs from the fridge.
Lucas nodded.
“I did!” He exclaimed. “And I didn’t burn that.”
Ashley laughed lightly and set to cooking the eggs. "Great job, babe. Do you want to butter them? Or maybe but some jam on them?"
“Some butter would be nice,” he said, taking out the butter.
(Skip a few days?)
(Yup. Your turn this time!)
(Lol. All right, fine.)
Ashley sighed as she sat down on the couch. It had been a long day in her classes, and she was exhausted now. It seemed like she was feeling more and more pregnant with every passing day. If it was like this now, how would she feel when she was actually big?
“Lucas? Do we have and strawberry ice cream?” she called to her boyfriend through a yawn.
Lucas set down his textbook and furrowed his eyebrows.
“I don’t think so,” he said. “I can get some if you want?”
“Would you, please? That would be awesome,” Ashley said, giving him a small smile. For some reason, she just really, really wanted strawberry ice cream… Not that she was complaining, as long as she got it.
Lucas grinned and stood up, pressing a light kiss on her forehead.
“I’ll be right back, okay? You be careful!”
“I’m not going anywhere, babe,” Ashley laughed lightly, quickly kissing his cheek before he could pull away. “I’ll see you in a bit. Love you.”
Lucas quickly came back with two packs of strawberry ice cream.
“I’m home, Ash~” he sang, walking over to the kitchen and taking out an ice cream scoop. He put the ice cream in a dish and handed it to Ashley.
Ashley took the bowl and looked up at Lucas expectantly. “Where’s the rest of it?” she asked with a teasing smile on her lips, talking about the tub of ice cream.
Lucas rolled his eyes.
“In the freezing,” he answered with a smile. “Finish that and I might just give you some more.”
Ashley chuckled softly and tugged in his arm so he would sit beside her. “Thank you, love. I appreciate it.”
Lucas wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer.
“Do you need a foot massage?” He asked her curiously. “I’ve heard feet get swollen during pregnancy. Sorry, I don’t know kuch, but I’m trying to learn.”
“I don’t think that’ll happen until I’m a bit bigger, Luca,” Ashley said with a light laugh. “Plus, you know what happens when someone touches my feet. I wouldn’t mind a back massage, though…”
Lucas nodded.
“All right, I’ll give you one, then,” he said, shifting. “C’mon, give me some space so I can exorcise your back.”
(I don’t think that’s the word you meant to use there. Lol. Her back isn’t possessed. XD)
Ashley hummed around a mouthful of her delightful strawberry treat. She scooted so that her back was facing him and took another bite of her ice cream.
“How were your classes today?”
(No, that’s exactly what I meant. XD Luke is being silly. XD)
Lucas gently massages her back—from her shoulders before going down gently.
“They were meh,” he shrugged. “We’ve got this contest in a few months, the teacher tells us. So we’ll be having trials to check who goes and who doesn’t. There are nine spots in total, and the last day to practice is in a month.”
(Lol. Whelp. I don’t understand humor apparently…)
Ashley hummed contentedly as Lucas worked on her back, leaning into his hands. “Well, I hope you do well. Actually, I’m sure you will. You’re the best out there.”
(It’s okay. XD)
Lucas chuckled, lightly shaking his head as his hands continued to massage her back.
“I don’t know,” he replied. “There are so many out there who are better than me.”
“Better than my Luca? Not possible,” Ashley chuckled around a mouthful of ice cream. “You’re amazing. And I mean that about more than just dance.”
