Ashley sighed and rubbed her head, setting her textbook down. “I don’t get it. I just don’t get it. How in the world do they expect me to understand what the heck this means?”

Lucas looked up from what he was watching, his glasses perched on his nose. He had been working on his choreography, and he’d made a video of himself so he could see whether he was doing a good job or not.
“What’s wrong, love?” He asked, looking at her and adjusting his glasses. “Having problems?”

Ashley grunted and pulled her legs into her chest, resting her chin on her knees. “I’m done with college… Can I just quit? Quitting seems good,” she muttered.

“Let’s take a break?” He suggested. “Come on. Cool yourself off. Why don’t we go to the pool or something?”

"I don't feel like going to the pool. I just… Ugh, I don't know," Ashley groaned, pulling away from him to stand up. She felt all out of sorts, like something just wasn't right with her. Maybe it was the baby causing her hormones to act up? "I don't know what I want to do, and it's driving me crazy."

“Shopping,” he said. “Let’s go shopping.”
