Lucas grinned, ruffling her hair.
“Go get your keys, and let’s get a move on!”
Lucas grinned, ruffling her hair.
“Go get your keys, and let’s get a move on!”
“I’m getting there. Geez. Impatient much?” Ashley teased as she walked over to where her purse was hanging on the wall. She grabbed it before slipping a pair of black, mid-calf boots on, then waited for Lucas.
“Okay, what colors are we going for?” Lucas asked as they stepped into the mall. “Black? Grey? Red? Golden?”
“Hm… What about gold and a rose color? Or just one of those?” Ashley suggested, glancing around. “I’m sure I could find something fitting in either of them.”
Lucas shrugged.
“Your call, love. I’m just a servant following your loving orders.”
“You’re not a servant, Luca,” Ashley chuckled, turning to kiss his cheek quickly before she stepped into a store. “I love you too much to have you be one.”
Lucas grinned, following after her.
“I was just being dramatic,” he said, stepping into the store with her. “But I’m glad you think so.”
"I know you were, babe," Ashley assured him with a smile as she looked around at the dresses. "Let me know if you see something you think I might like."
Lucas nodded.
"All right."
(Should we skip to when these two go back home, too?)
(Sure. Lol.
Not it!)
(I hate you not really. I'll do it in a few minutes.)
(Lol. Okay.)
“Ash, you ready?” Lucas called, holding their suitcases and bags. “We need to leave in ten minutes.”
Finally, they were going back to Florida. Lucas missed his family, but most of all, he wanted to see Eden. Sure, they talked a lot on FaceTime, but he wanted to see her face-to-face. He missed her a lot. After all, they were twins.
“Almost!” Ashley called back, pulling her hair up into a ponytail before walking out of the bathroom and over to Lucas. “Okay, I’m ready. What time is out flight for, again?”
“11:30 am,” Lucas replied. “If we leave now, we’ll arrive by 10:45 at most. Depending on how long it takes for us to go through the checkpoints… we should be in the plane by at least 11:20.”
(Bus? They’re taking a bus across the country? Lol.)
“Sound good,” Ashley said with a nod. “Let’s head out, then. I can’t wait to see everyone again!”
(SHOOT. I meant plane!!)
“Me neither!” Lucas agreed. “I called in a cab, too. We can’t take our car, after all.”
(Lol. 😂)
Ashley pouted at him playfully. “But what about my baby? Well… My first baby, that is… It’s going to be so lonely without me to drive it.”
(🤨 Boop?)
(🤨 Boop?)
(oh no. I didn’t know you replied!)
(Lol. That’s okay! It’s a good thing I bumped it, then!)
“Your baby’s going to be fine for a week, love,” Lucas laughed, shaking his head. “Besides, you won’t get to miss it. After all, we’ll be spending time with our Eden and Sterling, and our parents. Mom told me Eden and Sterling would arrive a little late.”
(Lol. That’s okay! It’s a good thing I bumped it, then!)
(Yes. :o)
Ashley sighed dramatically and leaned heavily on Lucas’s arm. “Fine, fine… Why are they arriving late, though?”
Lucas laughed and pressed a kiss on her forehead.
“I don’t know. She didn’t say. I think they’ve got a later flight,” he answered, linking their fingers together.
“Ah, okay. I guess that makes sense,” Ashley mused. She smiled up at him softly. “Shall we go?”
(Are we going to continue this in the other RP?)
Within twenty minutes, the couple was inside the airport and checking themselves in. They’d put in their suitcases and were boarding the plane ten minutes later.
“You have the window seat,” Lucas said to Ashley, stepping aside to let her through. “And I’ll make sure the baby knows what we’re seeing.”
(Sure~!)
Ashley chuckled softly and slid into her seat. “Are you going to tell the baby what we’re seeing? Just speaking to my stomach?”
Lucas nodded, sitting down on his seat as well.
“Of course I am,” he said like it was obvious. “Don’t you know? The baby hears everything. That’s why it can recognize voices—especially its mother’s. The more you talk to it, the better.”
