"I've been up for a while now, and good morning." He called from kitchen "sleep well?"
Turned Around **One on One, stalkers welcome**
She yawned, "Yeah…Why didn't you wake me up then?"
"Because you needed sleep, plus I didn't want to disturb you." He said, mixing some batter for waffles and cracking some eggs
"Oh man, I have to tell Landon today…" Harper says, her voice giving the impression that she was nervous.
He nodded, "Yes, we do." He replied as he poured the batter into a waffle maker.
"I thought you couldn't cook." Harper smiles, getting off the couch.
"I can't cook dinner, breakfast however is different." He said with a smile, glancing over his shoulder
Harper stretches, "When should I call Sara and have her bring Landon over?"
"After breakfast?" he suggested, pouring the eggs into a pan
"That works." She says hopping onto the counter next to Cas.
He glanced over at her with a soft smile while stirring the eggs "Eggs, ham, and waffles good?"
"Your sweatshirt is so cozy!" She smiles, watching Cas, "That sounds absolutely amazing love."
He breathed a gentle laugh and held up a spoon for her to taste "More pepper?"
Harper tastes it, "Just a tad bit."
He nodded and added more, tasting himself and nodding "better," He pulled out two plates and served her then himslef
"Okay, Landon really really likes you." Harper says grabbing two forks. "He liked Dan and all but he looks at you differently. There's a bond going on there."
He smiled at her statement "He's an amazing kid. Just like his mother. You should be proud." he said, taking one of the forks
"Se que el es," She smiles, "Now so I should tell you something, because you told me something last night."
He shook his head "You don't have to if you don't want to, amour" He ruffled his wings slightly and rolled his neck from side to side
"You know my glasses?" She says, getting up to grab them, "I couldn't see color at all, but my glasses and contacts let me see colors."
He nodded in understanding and leaned against the counter. He listened as he ate and kept an eye on the waffle maker
"It's weird…" Harper sighs taking a small bite.
"Like a charcoal sketch versus a colored pencil or pastel. Both the same picture, though very different at the same time. You get to live in two world with the same image." he said trying to apply his understanding of art with what she was telling him "I guess that could be dissorienting, switching between the two all the time."
"Very… Good explanation though." She says, eating again.
he laughed lightly and continued to eat "have you've always been color blind?"
"No…At 15…Long story." She says between bites, "Want to hear it?"
(Bump)
He nodded "of course." He headed over to the couch and sat down, curling his wings behind him to make room
"If your wondering why I'm not good at cooking is because fucking Science class ruined that….It's also why I became color blind…" Harper starts, while following Cas, "So science class, Freshman year of High school."
He nodded "chemistry?" He asked, "I'm guessing that became you're least favorite subject really quick."
