Dan lied again, "Harper got really drunk one night and she wanted me to fuck her…so I did."
"so still you." He said, eyes glowing "drunk doesn't mean yes."
"Did to me." Dan mutters and rolls his eyes, "How long until the police are here?"

"5 minutes." He said tilting his head, light catching his eyes "you really don't care do you? You want to be caught."
"Of course I care. Harper brought this upon herself. Her dad is going to get me out and no one, and I mean no one will ever find out what happened." Dan sighs while crossing his arms, "You really like her dont you?"

He shrugged "'like' was never in my vocabulary." he said, "and I don't even think her dad will get you out of this one." he stood as he heard sirens outside "now are you cooperating or am I knocking you out?" he asked, crouching a few feet away from Dan
"what ever the hell you want." Dan says and pushes himself off the wall. "Trust me Parker will get me out of this."
he tilted his head to the side and stood gracefully from his position "I want people like you from existing, where partners trust each other again, where families and their children can roam the streets safely without thinking about being killed or raped." he said "Parker? Peter Parker? Spiderman?" he said with a grin
"Harper's dad. Here have this. I was gunna propose to her tomorrow but you can have it." dan says and tosses him a red small box. "enjoy!"
She shook his head "I have no need for this." He tossed the ring back "look, I'll cut you a deal. If she says yes, I'll reconsider my options. If she says no. then you're going to jail. Alright?" he asked, knowing this was how they did things but wanting to give Dan one more chance "you also have to swear something."
"Nah take it. Your the better man here. And plus, look the police are down the hall anyways." Dan says and puts the small red box on the floor. " He slowly got on his knees and put his hands behind his head, "she likes you, it is for real Cas. Take care of her."
"Believe me, she won't when she finds out who I am." he muttered, glancing down at Dan "I hope you become a better person Dan, I truly do." He stalked away from him, talking to a man that looked similar to Cas, then walking away.
"So Castelon tells me you raped your girlfriend when you were both drunk, is that right?" the man asked, his name tag glinting in the remains of the day's light Luci
"yes sir."
Harper was wide awake reading her book, she had a feeling that Cas was awake too.
'Everything good?' she type on her phone and send the text and waits for a response.
He nodded "My son also tells me her father is the owner of the company you work for?" Luci nodded and glanced down at the younger man "Now normally, I'd have you locked up forever, never to see the glorious light of day again…" he sighed deeply "But I think I'll keep you in there just for a year, per request of Cas. But you need to swear to me something." he reached out a hand to help Dan get up
"what?"
"Ah, no glory without risks," he said, waving his hand, gesturing for him to take it
Dan grabs the hand, "Whatever it is i'll agree to."
Luci's eyes glowed "careful, there." He grasped his hand and hauled him up "you swear to never do this shit again? You swear to treat every woman, man and child you meet as if they were your life." He growled softly "now you will serve one year in jail, after that, you start a new life. Understand?"
"Yes sir, will i have to legally change my name?" Dan asks and lets the officer handle him.
He nodded and let go "That's up to you." Luci Lets go of Dan's hand "turn around and put your hands behind your back, anything you say can and will be held against you in the court of law blah blah blah. you get the jist."
Cas pulled out his phone and dialed Harper's number "Hey, what's up?"
"I can't sleep. Please tell me you didn't beat Dan's ass?" Harper asks while answering the call.
"Alright, I won't tell you then." He said, feeling guilty "why can't you sleep?" he asked, trying to change the subject
"I don't know, i think its a medical condition…some times I can and some times I can't. You feel like coming over?"
"Insomnia?" he asked "You're sure it's ok for me to go over? I wouldn't want to feel like I'm overstaying my welcome."
"I'm alone…and bored. And I can't sleep, so of course you can come over." Harper sighs and put him on speaker phone so she can change into a tanktop and leggings. "So I'm guessing you did something to Dan. Only guessing that because you avoided it when I asked you."
