"I have tomorrow off, so I'll be fine to stay up with you, I didn't mean to fall asleep" he sighed.

"Its okay if you need sleep. I can just make the book colors glow under the weird light." he offered.

"I can sleep tomorrow, since you sleep when the sun is up" he shrugged.

"Okay, if you are sure." He said, looking a bit worried for him.

"I go without sleep a lot. I can just sleep all day its fine"

"Okay, if you say so, if you promise."

"I promise" he chuckled.

Ash shrugged, clutching his stuffy. "Have I shown you my soft fuzzy thing yet?"

"No, its very cute though"

"Thank you! What would you call it?" Ash asked. "Cause soft fuzzy thing is a bit long-"

"That is a giraffe. but you can name it anything" he shrugged.

"Hm…. i dont know." Ash shrugged. "he has spots. Can i call him Spot?"

"sure, we can call him spot" he chuckled.

Ash smiled, buzzing slightly. "What do you usually do when im not here and you arent asleep?"

"work. I go to work" he sighed.

"Oh- that's not fun. and thats all you do?" Ash asked, a bit confused.

"Well, that and my collection" he shrugged.

"Oh, okay. you must have a big collection then." He said, smilling

"Yeah, you saw my little snake before. Hes the only living one right now" he said sadly

"What happened to the rest?" Ash questioned.

"They died, complications with their mutations" he sighed, "I dont think the snake will live much longer"

"Oh no! But he has to!" Ash said, clutching his bunny tighter.

"Hes body is doing the best it can. It is just not good enough. Miracles of nature sometimes have short lifes kid." He sighed.

"that's so sad!" He exclaimed. "Am I like him? I'm I too big? Am I gonna die too?"

"hopefully not, you seem to be in great health. That snake just doesn't have what it needs to survive" He sighed.

"what does it need?!? I'll bring it! I'll find it and bring it. My colony will help me look!"

"You cant Ash, I appreciate the thought, but nature must run its course"
