Wanting to do a o/o with my new character// Closed, but lurk if you so wish

He chuckled, attempting to braid her hair and failing badly at it.

"Do you not know how to braid either? I can at least teach you that one, if you would like." She looked amused.

He shrugged. "Might as well."

"Now?" She asked, sitting up and shifting so that she was sitting back against the couch.

"If you want." I'd rather just sleep, but this is fine.

She squinted at him for a moment, calculating. "Hm. Take a nap, and I will teach you after."

He smiled. "You know me so well." He closed his eyes and slouched in the seat, his arms crossed over his stomach.

"Simple to figure." She stated, smiling down at him.

He spun around sideways to lay like he had the night before, closing his eyes.

She huffed a laugh, reaching for her phone to check the message. Her eyes widened as she read it, her whole body tensing as she visibly paled.

Eli was already half-asleep in her lap, so he didn;t notice it.

Her fingers shook as she typed a quick reply and set the phone face down on the arm of the couch, a bit too hard, and ignored it as it buzzed at least five more times.

He heard the phone buzz and opened his eyes, frowning when he saw her face. What's going on?"

"N-nothing." She looked like she had seen a ghost, and for all intents and purposes had basically just received a message from one. "Everything is fine, go ahead and sleep."

"For real, what's wrong?" he began to sit up.

She shook her head, and the phone buzzed once more. "I said it was nothing. Just get some rest."

His frown deepened, but he settled back into his spot on her lap.

She looked off at the wall, and an odd, sad look crossed her face. It has been years, why now of all times would he try to contact me?

"Why don't you wanna tell me?" he asked, his eyes still closed.

"Because I would like to pretend it is not happening myself." She replied, working her fingers through his hair.

He damn near let out a purr when she began playing his hair. "Will you have to leave today because of it?"

"No. Because I refuse to acknowledge it."

"Let's say they bring irrefutable evidence."

"How do you mean?"

"Whatever's happening, what if they have proof that you can't argue with? Will you still not leave?"

"It is not work related, Eli. It is a more personal issue."

he rubbed his chin, sighing. "Will you be alright?"

"I will be just fine, do not worry."

He looked up at her, frowning. "Why don't you want to tell me?"
