Come one and all, I am ALWAYS looking for roleplays! I would like to use Evelyn if anyone is up to RP
-waves in-
Maybe? If I can? I am known to have limited roleplaying time, though…
You can of course, of course of course. I am patient and willing to wait.
Cool! What kind of characters are we looking for?
Doesn't matter. I specialize in romance
Do we have a template? Or can I just post my character?
Uhm I use the character on here
(But I only have like one character on here…I may just post a Google Doc link instead. Would that be alright?)
(Yeah!)
I may have to do this later..
That's fine.
(Reads about Evelyn)
Okay, can I compliment you on your character? I've only gone into that kind of depth with only one or two of my characters (who I don't think would match up well with Eve.) She's really cool!
ALL of my characters are super in depth. Crystal is my most in depth, but thank you!
Q: What age range are we looking for?
uhm my character is 18
(What I meant was: Are we in high school? College? Neither?)
Also, I'm almost done with my character!
Awesome! And hmmm…College would be interesting. Have never done a college rp with Evelyn before.
Okay! I need to flesh out his backstory and we're all set!
Great!
Well we need a starter. It's college, romance…actually we'll leap in, make our own story line. it'll be first day of college and moving into rooms btw
Okay…should you or I start it?
I can!
Cool!
Evelyn headed up to her room, opened the door, and was happy to see that thus far, her dorm mate wasn't here yet. She turned on her indie/alternative music play list, put on her blue tooth speaker, and got to work putting away clothes and putting up posters, making the bed, and singing along as she danced around the room. She took the bottom bunk, having an irrational fear of dying while falling off the top bunk. She was in New York at the college of Art and Music, and what she was studying was very obvious by the stack of guitar books on her desk, as she set up her computer there to charge, filled the drawers with pencils and note books, and then unpacked her guitar case and slid it under her bed, putting the acoustic on a little stand in the corner of the room. She then put up a desk lamp, and looked around. On her wall was a pansexual pride flag, band posters, and a few drawings from her friends. She sank down into the bed and lay there, a grin on her face. In an hour was College Prep day, with a lot of speakers and stuff in the Auditorium. For now she enjoyed the empty room, the lack of family, and the freedom that filled her spirit.
Lyle yawned, not liking the fact that it was way too early for him to be up. If anything, he was most certainly a night owl. He smiled, remembering once how he stayed up all night just to get homework done in high school.
Walking into the dorm, he could've looked better. The only thing fueling him was coffee, something he rarely had. Lyle had a backpack tossed on his back-a rather cheap-looking thing that was red with dark grey highlights. The zippers on it were white, the only thing that was bright on him. He hauled a travel bag, pretty much a black suitcase filled with his things-his backpack was only carrying entertainment-sketchbook, phone, notebook, books, and plenty of pencils. Having come from Ohio, he had a lot of time to spare on the plane ride to New York.
Nodding to his roommate with an I'm-trying-to-be-nice-while-I'm-tired smile, Lyle tossed his things into a corner. He wasn't surprised that he was with a girl-without hearing him, he could easily be assumed a girl, just without a large chest.
She nodded the sup nod and turned off the music, staring up at the bedframe above her. Half the room was blank, giving him plenty of room to decorate how he wanted. "Hey. I'm Evelyn, and if you need any pins for posters and stuff, I have a whole 'nother box of them." She lived in New York and so things worked out well as she grabbed her back pack, pulled out a pack of gum, and stuck a few pieces in her mouth.
"Cool, 'm Lyle. I don't have many posters, though." Lyle tipped his head to the side with an apologetic smile. "What classes did you come here for? I came here on a swimmer's scholarship."
"Ah. A sports guy. Damn. They've never been my thing, though I played baseball in highschool. Anyways, I'm here on music." She nodded back towards the guitar in the corner. "Majoring in music, possibly own my own record company some day. And minoring in some sort of writing career, probably a poet of some sort." She sighs and stretches as the sun lazily added hues to her golden hair.
"I mean, I'm here on a scholarship, but I'm intending to work on my writing skills," Lyle scratches his head nervously. He didn't want to be in a room where someone was going to hate him, so he tried to be nice.
Lyle began to unpack, only having a few sets of clothes, his laptop, his headphones, and three posters, one of AJR, another of his favorite football team, and finally, one of his favorite quote: "You will never get everything in life but you will get enough.”
