"Hm, then you are a fool, little one." She pats your head and then spun away into the crowd, and after dancing with a few guys came back to you. "And who knows, maybe I don't see YOU as a friend. Maybe I could see you as a lover." (I LOVE WHEN PEOPLE ACTUALLY USE MY CHARACTERS NICK NAMES YAY! I dunno it like feels like people are closer to that character.) "Maybe your hot in my eyes. Maybe your hideous and I'll ignore your ass after tonight. You know nothing. I know everything." And liked that she kissed your cheek and disappeared into the crowd, and was off to the drinks.
-waves in-
(You haven't seen my previous posts? XD I've been using Lyle and Eve's names in almost all of them :P No problem, I guess.)
Lyle smiled and shook his head. Him? Hot? Please. He edged his way off of the dance floor, feeling awkward not to know anyone but Eve. He only hoped that she wouldn't just get out of his life entirely-she was the first person who made him feel comfortable in a crowd.
(No I have, i just didn't comment) She was waiting on a margarita, humming a bit. "Ay Evelyn I hear you sing." "Yeah, I guess. Where'd you hear that?" "I saw you at a bar a few months ago." "Hm, okay. I'm not playing here." "Ah cmon, your so good!" She shook her head. "No…tonight I'm hoping to make some friends, get some connections. And what would your name be." "Michael, pleasure to finally talk to you." Suddenly Michael got punched in the nose by Evelyn. "Quit staring at my boobs." "OW HEY WHAT THE HELL!" "What, do you expect me to just take it. Pffft, naw. I was raised differently. Keep your eyes and hands where the fuck they belong if you don't have consent." She then walks off, and soon finds some interesting people, chatting away with them, but while walking over had grabbed your hand. She even made sure to include you in the conversation, and bring you if she went back to the bar, even buying you a soda.
"Hey, you don't have to buy me a soda to hang out with you. I'm fully content to have fun without payment! I'm just…antisocial, that's all." Lyle smiled in pity of himself, letting he be dragged on by Eve. "You know, you're not gonna get a guy by dragging him everywhere you want to go. But thanks for the drink."
"Fine. I thought I was helping by being nice." She left you in the circle of people you didn't know and was gone upstairs, to get a little high.
"Shit, Evelyn-" Lyle walked in the direction she went, but that was short-lived. He didn't know where she'd went, and was the crowd large, or was it him? He somehow pushed his way through the bodies-some drunken, some trying to dance with him-as he found his way outside, breathing heavily as he brushed his hand through his hair. So many things here reminded him of high school. And was it him, or were those people laughing?
"Hey! How's your sister?" Laughs. Laughs. People laughing at Lyle.
Wham! Lyle punched the guy senseless, seeing the blood trail down his nose as angry, yet sad tears found their way on Lyle's face. He didn't care if they kicked him out anymore. If he was, it was for something worth punching a guy for.
Evelyn went outside, and found Lyle, and ran over, and instantly before you knew what was happening you were in her lap, as she pet your head."Shhh…I was only teasing. I thought you wanted to be alone. I'm sorry for abandoning you like that…but I'm here now. You'll be okay just breath." She held you tight against her chest. "Now I know. You're probably going to freak out. It's okay to have emotions just…breath. Okay? Calm down." She rubbed your back. "I've been my friend groups therapist for far too long, this is basically instinct at this point, especially with the guys." She sighs, and even kisses your forehead and leaves behind a lipstick mark. "You'll be okay."
"You…you didn't abandon me. Someone else did. Someone…who deserves a million roses." Lyle stood and shook his head. He hadn't meant to break. "Do you still want to be here?" Lyle made sure that he was no longer crying, but his eyes were slightly watery.
She pulls him back. "Stay here until you're alright and ready. Okay? I'd like to stay but going back to the room sounds nice as well. It's whatever."
Lyle nodded. "I'm fine. I should be. I don't usually explode like that. I'm sorry you had to see that." Lyle chuckled nervously at himself, his fingertips of his left hand on the back of his neck, almost completely covering his tattoo. "Anyways, I owe you a drink." A confident smile returned to Lyle's face. Any trace of sadness or anger wasn't shown, as if he'd flipped a switch.
She cocks an eyebrow. "You don't owe me anything. NO ONE owes me ANYTHING. I can make my own. Ya hear?" She growls our and goes off, like you had flipped the same switch in her, just different directions. She heads off to the party. The alcohol was slowly affecting her. ((Expect crying))
"I'm not saying that you're some thing that needs to be taken care of. I'm just…trying to be nice." Lyle manages to catch up with her, his face soft. "You okay?"
"I'm fine." She said, rolling her eyes as she got an even heavier drink. Now you either a) can take the drink and risk getting punched in the face or b) let her drink it and see what type of drunk she is, over time.
"How much have you drank tonight?" Lyle asked, looking at Eve, concerned. "I may be nice, but I don't know if I'd like to carry you home."
"4 drinks maybe." She said with a grin as she chugged down the one in her hand."Make that 5."
"Evelyn…" Lyle started, but shook his head. "You know what? To hell with it." Lyle grabbed some guy's beer, who flipped him off before Lyle chugged it. "I'm still going to kill you after this…" He said, but almost instantly, he was more relaxed. (When your character has low alcohol tolerance…YAY! )
"No you areeen't." She purred. (She's been a drinker since she was 14. She's not a heavy weight or anything but it will take a while.) She then spun around, and walked off to the dancefloor, but now her moves were less graceful and more like a strippers.
(HI)
(Ah! SorryIThoughtIRespondedButThenIDidn'tAndIForgotAboutItI'mSorry…DidYouHaveAGoodThanksgiving?)
Focusing his vision, Lyle didn't know if he liked what he saw. God, she was beautiful… but the way she presented herself almost made her seem extremely reckless. The fact that Lyle saw her as a carefree person emphasized that.
"Hey," Lyle approached her, having smelt the alcohol on her breath a while ago. "Don'cha think we should go back to our dorm? Relax a little without people surrounding us?"
"Good idea…" She punches someone that was grabbing her ass, grabs your hand, and stumbles out of the crowd and outside. "Damnit…didn't get laid tonight…ah well." She shrugged and spun around a few times. Wreckless? Oh honey you don't even know. (hey it's fine I'm guilty of the same thing. It was good! Yours?)
(I ate lots of food, and I laughed at my brother for being picky, so pretty good!) (I am known as the human garbage disposal xD)
"You will get laid eventually…unless you're super religious or something." Lyle made sure to be ready if she fell, holding her arm gently.
"You let me know if I need to carry your drunk ass the half-mile back, okay? I don't want you to try to walk, only to trip over your own feet."
She laughs. "Religious? I'm a pagan." She smiled and wrapped your arm around her waist, head on his shoulder. "Just keep me like this and we shoooould be fiiiine." She smiled. "Hm. You smell good. Like cinnamon."
"And you smell like…" Lyle tried to come up with something good knowing that his answer would be, "alcohol. Come on, it's not too far away."
She rolled her eyes. "You specifically smell like fire ball soooo…you ALSO smell like alcohol pony boy." She tucks your hair back, rolling her eyes.
(Sorry I've been gone-something medical came up and I was unable to respond…)
"Yeah yeah, I get it. You're too mean to go down alone, aren't you?" Lyle chuckles. "And I thought I could be blunt sometimes…"
(Sorry, I don't have many ideas at the minute >.<)
(Hey totally fine, I understand!) She only laughed. "I'm gonna go down swingin'!" She made a few swings with her free hand at the air, as the two walked up the steps of their dorm and to their room.
"All right tiger, let's get some sleep before school, okay?" Lyle looks at drunken Eve, shaking his head. "I'm gonna have to deal with a hungover Eve, won't I? Dammit." Despite his frustration, he guides Eve to her bed, sitting next to her with his arm wrapped around her.
She instintively curled up and sat in his lap, and snuggled into him, mumbling a bit. "But what if I don't WANT to go to sleep? Hey…where'd the party go? Get me another drink handsome, will ya?"
