She offered him her thing. "I'm not saying I hate you, not at all. Just never been a big fan. Who knows, maybe rooming with a sports fan will make me one myself." She shrugs and offered him a smile.
-waves in-
"Ha. You have to first know what the hell happens in said sport. Though some sports are self-explanatory." Lyle smirks as he takes a few pins, tacking up his posters right above his bunk.
"You sure you're okay with a guy in here? I don't mean to sound rude at all…" Lyle looked…awkward. He hadn't ever slept in the same room as a girl before, other than his mom and…but that was behind him now.
(Me trying to add mystery to my character when he has only one secret.)
"Yup. I grew up with 15 other siblings so pretty used to it, I won't complain." She shrugs.
"That sounds hectic. I'm an only child." Lyle smiled when he turned her way before returning to the unpacking. He was lying…kinda. "Are you the oldest? Youngest? Middle child?" Lyle asked, almost done putting away his clothes, consisting of mostly jeans, athletic shorts, t-shirts, and a few hoodies.
"Second eldest." She said with a nod. "I'm a twin, born 5 seconds before my brother. But Clara, the oldest, is in her 30's. But me and Evan were the very first two our mother adopted, so it kind of depends on how you look at it. Age, or adoption wise." She got up off the bed and checked the time. "We have a half hour to get to the auditorium, we outta go wander around till we find it."
Lyle sucked in a breath. "Yeah, don't wanna be that late person. Where do you expect it is?"
She shrugged. "Dunno. Oh wait…" She went over to her desk, pulled out a folder, and sat on her bed. "They sent me a college packet. Are you good at reading maps?"
"I guess? I'm not the worst." Lyle shrugged, sitting next to her.
She sorted through the folder and pulled out the map, spreading it out between them. "Well, I'm not the best so we'll just see how lost we get. Let's see..there's the entrance there, and across the street is the dorms, we're in housing C." She said looking around. "I am going to assume the Auditorium is somewhere in the theater apartment but I really don't know…" She searched, trying to find land marks and such.
"Yeah, it's right…here." Lyle points to a point on the map-a largeish area compared to the tiny rooms. Then again, the map was huge, making one room look relative to the next.
"Guess I can be of some use, after all, not just a sports boy."
She laughs. "I guess so. Well, let's head over there. Seems like a really long walk." She gets up, grabs her phone, and turns it on, then makes sure her lanyard has the key on it.
Making sure his phone was in his pocket, Lyle followed suit, remembering to turn left-not right, he had gotten lost that way-towards the exit.
(Timeskip? Unless you have some huge plans? Like, they could talk more, but I haven't thought of more than that…)
(Time skip indeed.) After the lecture, you and Evelyn had seperated, as she had caught up with some friends. You two were still walking together, but they were planning on going to go get some lunch after touring the campus a bit more. "I'll meet you back at the dorm, alright?" She smiled, and walked off, excitedly chatting. My dorm mate is hella cute…time to hit on him. She nods to herself as she kept talking, and you and just boys at campus in general were the main topic of convo.
(That was kind of…quick…)
"Sure! Of course. I'll…go now." In all honesty, nobody that Lyle was remotely close with decided to go to this college, so he was, well… New. Inexperienced. Et-cetera. He was so used to the wacky weather in the Middle East, so he had yet to adjust to the even colder New York. He started walking around, saying 'hi' and waving to people who bothered to notice him, which were mostly the people who were handing out flyers and such that were representing classes and clubs. As a result, Lyle had a decent stack of papers on his bed in disarray, and his legs dangled off his bed as he idly read them, only caring about half of them.
(Its evelyn it's how she be…don't worry it won't seem as quick as you think it is) She walked in quite a bit later with a bag of subway. "Here! I got you a meatball sub. It didn't seem like you had dinner plans sooo decided to be nice." She hands you the bag. "I can get you a soda from the vending machine if you want." She then plops down on her bed.
"I-what? No, it's fine. How much do I owe you?" Lyle was kind of sheepish, something he wasn't used to. Well, at least until a year ago…
"You didn't have to, really. I'd have probably gone to Taco Bell or Burger King. They have those here, right?"
(Sorry for the short response!)
"Yeah they do, and nothing. It's on me really, I don't mind. I ate half and wasn't hungry for the rest, and luckily they cut foot longs into half, though you'd enjoy the other! You don't mind right? Or are you vegan or vegetarian? Oh gods you are aren't you? I must seem like an asshole, here I can go get you a salad or something if you want, I don't mind…sorry…"
"N-no! It's fine!" He smiled, and, to prove himself, he took a gigantic bite. "It's really good!" sounded like "Iphh eelly oophd!"
She laughed as she looked at you. "Okay, good ya dork. Sheesh, hold on. I'll go get you a soda so you don't choke to death." She headed off to the vending machine, and came back, handing you a coca cola, taking a swig off hers. "Hope you don't mind Coke."
"You suck. I could've paid for that, y'know," Lyle grumbled, not really minding it when he felt like he should've. "I owe you one. Well…more like three, but…" Lyle shrugged, unused to be awkward.
Why is it so hard to talk? Jeez, Lyle, you're just like your sister! The unexpected thought startled him, and he found himself bite the inside of his cheek.
"I do suck…dick." She did finger guns and smiled. "I had to. Anyways no you owe me nothing." She shrugged as she took a gulp with a smile.
"My mind has been dirtied, and I will never see the light of innocence ever again," Lyle said in a blank tone before cracking up. "So, what's your first class?"
(Should they have the same classes?)
(A few of the same, a few different.) "Well tomorrow I have Music Theory and Basic Tech. For like recording studios and stuff. Oh and I think some business class."
"Uh…" Lyle pulls out his schedule. "Music Theory, Creative Writing, and Art & Design. So, I might see you once tomorrow," thank god, I won't be alone! "At least, when we're not in our dorm."
"Ooh! I have Creative Writing tomorrow. You'll have to tell me what the class is like." She nods, and gets out some sweats and a t-shirt. "Turn away will ya? I'm gonna get ready for bed."
Lyle rolls his eyes, looking away with a smug look on his face. "You done yet?" he asks after a minute has passed.
"Shuddup." She said as she took off her bra and put on the tye dye shirt. "I'm done." You could see her tits poking through the shirt as she crawled into her bed and texted a bit on her phone.
"Ha-ha, funny." Lyle briefly changed shirts, revealing his tattoo on the bottom of his neck for only a few seconds. Stretching, Lyle climbed up to his bunk and flopped on what would be his bed for a while.
"Hey, what's up with the tat on your neck? It's hella cool." Evelyn was covered in tats, and planning on getting yet another one soon. A match, between her breasts. (def check out her description for where her tats all are)
