(I saw her description-and I like her character overall)

"Oh. I, uh, lost a bet with a few friends. It's a rose, or so I'm told." Lyle said, but even though Eve couldn't see him, it was evident that he was lying. Lyle didn't seem like the person to have many-if any-friends.

"Ah the rose, the flower of love. Great story, if only it was true." She sighed and pulled off her sweats, grabbed some pj shorts, and climbed up onto the top bunk, sitting on it, showing you the rose on her upper thigh, the thorns coiling down to her ankle. "Hurt like a bitch even with weed." The rose dripped like candle wax, and the thorns had some strange shading. She smiled. "I'm made of tainted glass. All of these are a story of some sort. A patch work of memories. I'm my own collage." Her smile grew.

"That's…poetic, in a sense." Internally, he winced at her comment. He was rarely a liar, but he wasn't going to tell Eve, quite possibly a random stranger, his deepest secret.
"Good thing you're into poetry, huh?" Lyle smiled wistfully.

"Damn good thing. Now. I know stories, even when penned. Sometimes they don't want to be told. So I'll say I believe you and your lying eyes, specially since we barely know each other. But. If you have any questions about the quilt of wonders upon my self, feel free to ask." She rubbed her arm with the pan flag on it with a grin.

"'Quilt of wonders.' I think you've got poetry down to a science!" Lyle chuckled. "Maybe I'll tell you later, but…I'm not so keen on it. Now, are you gonna go to bed, or are we staying up all night doing practically nothing?"

"Ha! Your rooming with an insomniac. YOU can go to sleep. I'm going to probably jam to music and write. If you see me get up and start dancing, ignore it. The unusual is usual for me." (Really ask her about her tats. I wanna tell her stories)

"Okay, but since you asked about mine, I'm asking about yours. What's with all the tats? One or two smaller ones, sure, but you?" Lyle cocks his head to the side, squinting as if he's trying to figure Evelyn. Like a puzzle, in a way.

"Again, all MEAN something. Ask about any." She laid back on your bed, hugging herself, just barely able to fit.

"Okay…how 'bout the rose on your thigh?" Lyle asked with genuine curiosity.

"Hm? Oh. To honor my heart and how broken it is, my shattering. My past I guess as well." She shrugs, and stretches a bit. She then rolled onto her stomach and you saw the fox on the other side.

"Aand…the fox is because you're smart? Because you don't really care what the world says, because you can find a way around it?" Lyle guessed, but he was pretty sure he was wrong. Of course, his rose meant more than just love, just like Eve's were a part of her. They meant more than what was seen.

"Sort of. It's for my mother Crystal, a savior. I had…a shitty childhood. And then me and my twin brother,Evan, were adopted by her. And well Foxes are her favorite." She nods, and itches the wrist with the semi colon. Below it were 3 dates, and one of the dates was only 3 months ago.

"The dates? are those significant to you?" Lyle bit his lip, almost content as to hear the story. It almost reminded him of when he used to read stories to…he didn't continue the thought.

"3 suicide attempts, 3 trial and errors. I believe in 3 times the charm." She tugged down her pj shorts, old scars covering the inside of her thighs. She wore a smile as she said this, trying to hold herself up and put on a brave face while telling her past.

Lyle blinks, unsure of how to respond. "Are you okay now? I couldn't imagine…" his voice trailed off, almost as if it knew nothing to say. Lyle's right hand went upwards to scratch the back of his neck, one of the ways his nervousness would show.

"No I'm not okay. But. I'm getting there." She sighed hugged one of your pillows, burying her head into it. "Whenever you wanna sleep let me know." She shrugged and kicked her legs back and fourth lazily, enjoying the sounds of the steady thudding on the mattress. "Wait. It's only 6 in the afternoon. What the fuck are we doing, going to bed?"

"I dunno. Um…" Lyle bit his tongue, hesitation on the tip of it.
"I…The rose is there on purpose. I don't want to go further into it, though. I'm sorry I lied. I'm not ready yet, to tell people, y'know?"

"That's fine. I'm not ready to tell people all my deepest darkest fears and secrets. I get it." Suddenly her phone dinged and she literally rolled off, flipped around at the last second, and landed on her feet, and read the text."HEY! There's a party tonight to celebrate the first day of college!" She then stripped off ehr clothes, and changed into the clothes she had been wearing all day, but put on a jacket, a beanie, and flat boots, and brushed her hair. "You wanna go?" She asked as she checked herself out in the mirror and ut on some makeup, humming to herself a bit. She looked really pretty, you noticed, dressed up like this.

"Um…" Lyle was trying to think, trying not to seem distracted. "Yeah! Why not?"
Changing back into his clothes, he picked out a dark blue denim-jean jacket and wore a smile on his face. "It's been a while since I partied, so why not now?" A year, but it doesn't matter. Remember Lyle, you have a fresh start here. Make it count!

"Awesome!" She smiled and hurriedly texted away, walking out the door after grabbing her purse and triple checking her hair in the mirror. "Gods, of all the days to have a bad hair day…" She mumbled to herself as she used a comb and a hair brush to try to let it lay the best, before just grabbing a bobby pin and jamming it into her hair. "Eh, good enough." And after stuffing her bag with a few chargers and a lighter, walked off out the door, singing a bit.

Going out the door with nothing but a pen-which, upon further inspection, has a quote etched on it-that Lyle toyed with, having come out of his jacket pocket.
"So, where's this party?" Lyle was anxious above anything.

"On campus. In the…D district. Of course, where all the sex jokes probably live." She sighed. "Let's see. We are in District B…such a long waaaaaalk. Augh…wait. I have a motorbike. I brought my motorbike. Hope you don't mind pastel pink helmet, I don't gotta wear one."

person_off

"That's…fine. You have a motorbike?" Way out of your league, Lyle. He almost flinched at the thought. "Where is it?"

person_off

"Already told you, District D." She shrugged and hands you the map. "You don't mind being navigator do you?" She asks as she heads out the door and downstairs.

person_off

"I meant the motorbike…but sure!" Lyle was chipper for the moment, looking down at the map in his hands. He started to talk to himself ("So, if we're here…")

"Oh! Down in the car lot. Gotta pay like 30 bucks extra to have it on campus, but se la vie. What can ya do. I don't like driving, not enough thrill." She loops your arm with yours. "So I can walk and lead you along while you figure out where we're going." She then tugs you off along to the elevator.

person_off

"M'kay…" Don't pay attention to her, you're just friends. Just friends, Lyle. Just. Friends.

She let go of your arm in the elevator, and was to deep in her phone to pay attention to your red cheeks, when she looks up at you to say something, and laughs. "My Tomato, what's got your cheeks blooming roses?" She pats your cheek twice with a grin and another laugh.

person_off

"I'm-what? It's hot! Plus, my cheeks get red when I'm tired." Lyle said normally, when really, he was freaking the hell out.

person_off

"Uhuh. I've got 15 siblings and I have NEVER heard of red tired cheeks. Get a better lie. It's not that hot, if anything it's sort of cold in this elevator…should've brought a thicker jacket…" She stood a bit closer to you, returning to her Temple Run.
