"No, it is. Really. I promise. I'll stop talking now…" Moron.

He looked at her. "Y-You don't have to…I mean…I like hearing your voice."

"You really do?" she asked, her eyes sparkling at his words.

"Yeah…I-It's pre-errr It sounds nice."

She bit her lip and blushed. "Th-Thank you," she murmured shyly.

"N-No problem!"

She realized the mixture was all rubbed in. "How do you feel?"

"B-Better."

"That's good," she whispered, capping the jar. "You can lay back now."

He nods and laid back down. He winced but not as bad. "T-Thanks…Jamie."

"No problem. Rest," she instructed him, smoothing his hair gently.

He nods clearly tired.

"Rest," she repeated and leaned forward to kiss his forehead before heading off to return the jar to Madam Pomfrey.

After a while he fell asleep.

Jamie returned to him sleeping. "I have to go to classes," she told him. "I'll take notes in potions for you, I promise." She kissed his forehead lightly and left.

Conner was awake and getting his stuff together. His hair was a mess.

Jamie sprinted in, breathless. "Conner! You're awake! Are you feeling alright? Any better? How are you feeling? I made sure to take notes in Potions and Herbology for you, and I asked the other professors what you missed – McGonagall, Flitwick, Umbridge…" She paused for a brief second. If you didn't know her, you'd think she was just taking a breath. "But really how are you? Did the back rub help? How did you sleep?"

"I-I'm just a little sore, But other than that I'm great."

"That's good, I was devastatingly worried about you!" Jamie cried.

"S-Sorry…" He tried to fix his hair but had no luck.

"What do you have to be sorry for?" she asked, stepping forward. She held out her hand for him to take. "C'mon!"

"…O-Ok…"

She giggled. "Let's goooo." She began to walk toward the door.

"W-Where are we going?" he said following her.

"Somewhere secret," she whispered.

He nods.

"C'mon!" she repeated, bringing him through the halls.

People stared at him and the group of boys laughed at him but he didn't care.
