Marlee got her books out of her locker. "What class do you have next Marlee?" her best friend Remond asked. "Biology with Mrs. Kutz." she replied.

Cory sighed and repeatedly mutter sorry as three people ran into him. He grabbed his biology books and walked slowly to class staying close to the side avoiding as many people as possible

Marlee said goodbye to Remond and walked to her seat.

Cory arrived in class and sat towards the back where he usually sat

Marlee saw her seat had been taken by one of the cheerleaders so she found an open seat near the back.

Cory glanced over as he saw a pretty girl sit next to him, Please don't talk to me, please don't make conversation He thought turning away

Marlee noticed the boy glance over to her. "Hi, I'm Marlee, I don't believe we've met."

The girl spoke, "U-um h-hi." He said quietly, "I'm C-cory…" He felt nervous, no one ever speaks to him

"Oh, I'm sorry, I made you uncomfortable. I do that a lot. I'm very talkative." Marlee said turning away a bit.

Cory shook his head, "No no it's…its fine. Its just I don't get talked to a lot." He shrunk down in his seat, embaressed

"Oh, well if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm always here to listen." Marlee said with a warm smile on her face."

Cory blushed, "Umm, thanks"

Marlee smiled, "Of course."

The teacher walked into the classroom, and Cory turned his attention to the teacher

Marlee got her binder out of her backpack and opened to an open page so she could take notes.

After the class was over Cory headed to his locker to put away his books.
