Ying and Yang ~~~~O/O~~~~ Closed (Stalkers welcome)

Marlee walked towards her locker and tripped over a cheerleader's bag. "Watch where you're going klutz!" The girl snapped. "S..Sorry" Marlee stammered.

Cory sighed as he heard a cheerleader yell at another student. He closed his locker and slowly headed to lunch.

Marlee gathered her things, put them in her locker and headed to lunch.

Cory sat down at a far off lunch table with no one at it and stared at the window as he halfheartedly chewed on his sandwich, he wasn't that hungry he never was.

Marlee found her friends and sat down. "Marlee, what happened to your face?" Her soul sister, Kylie, asked. Marlee looked confused. "What do you mean?"

Cory glanced the lunchroom and shrunk down in his seat nervously, it was much too loud. Cory hated noise.

Marlee walked out of the cafeteria and rounded the corner to the bathroom. She walked past the gothic girls overpacking their faces with black lipstick and the other girls vaping. She looked at her reflection and saw her very bruised nose. "Well damn." She was taken aback by her appearance.

Cory continued looking around the room at the different types of people, the jocks, the pretty girls, the nerds, the weebs, the gothic people, and the normal people. He fit in nowhere he saw the girl he had met earlier walk out of the cafeteria and slightly blushed. He faced down at the table and mumbled, "I wish I had at least one friend, just someone to talk to help me through my anxiety and depression…"

Marlee dampened a paper towel and walked back to lunch, she noticed Cory sitting alone. She walked towards him, trying to smile, which was hard with her nose looking like it had a baseball thrown into it.

Cory looked up to see Marlee walking towards him, he panicked a little bit, and noticed her nose. Nervously he said, "U-um, h-hey Marlee…Umm, a-are you okay?" His heart beat quickly as he wondered what she'd say back. He resisted the urge to look away from her.

"Oh yeah, I'm okay, at least I believe I am. Some stupid cheerleaders decided to leave their backpacks in the middle of the floor and I tripped over it and fell on my face. Are you okay though?" Marlee asked, trying to distract herself from the throbbing pain she felt in her head.

"M-me?" Cory stuttered nervously, no one ever asked how he was so he ignored his fast beating heart and the rising panic in him and lied, "I'm f-fine. I hate the cheerleaders. T-they're so r-rude to everyone."

"Uh Cory are you sure you're okay, you can talk to me." Marlee said looking at him. She felt compassion for the boy, she wanted to help him even though she didn't know what was going on.

Cory frowned and looked at the table, "I…I'm fine…" He mumbled, She wouldn't understand, no one ever understands He thought

"Okay, but if there is something going on, please tell me." Marlee said, trying to get a read on his behavior.

"O-okay," Cory sighed, then the bell rang for next period and he jumped, He stood up and threw his trash and most of his lunch which he didn't get around to eating away.

Marlee ignored her headache for the rest of the day. She didn't think anything of it.

When school ended, Cory kept his head down low and walked out the doors into the crisp fall air.

Marlee walked outside to look for her older brother, Charlie. "Hey ya little sis. Um, wanna tell me what happened to you." Charlie said, eying up her nose. "Oh, um, just fell in the hallway, over a cheerleader's bag. Then I battled the floor. The floor won of course." Marlee said. "Sarcastic as ever I see." Charlie laughed and helped Marlee load her bag into the truck. "At least promise me you'll put some ice on it when we get home." Marlee knew he was worried if their father saw her nose that way. "I promise." Marlee said.

Cory plugged in his headphones and walked to his house, the wind blowing his bangs into his face. He casually swept them out of his eyes and sighed.

Marlee walked into her kitchen and was greeted with all her animals running at her at once. "Hi guys!" She said, smiling. She got ice for her nose and grabbed some ice cream.

Cory walked through the door and sat his stuff down. "I'm home Lee," Cory called whilst stretching. A white cat with black paws and black tipped ears and tail lightly stepped up to him and rubbed himself against his legs.

Marlee walked to her room and let her ferrets out. Boo, the smallest, climbed up her leg and on to her shoulder.

Cory flopped down on the couch and buried himself in a mass of pillows and blankets, "I almost had a fricking panic attack today, Lee…" He mumbled watching his cat clean himself, "Some girl…Marlee talked to me and I'm unsure why. Someone must've put her up to it. She's kinda pretty though." He let out a half-hearted laugh, "But who can I trust?! I've always made the wrong decisions!" He buried his face and started uncontrollably out of loneliness and self-hate.

Marlee held Boo in her arms. "Oh Boo, I meant the nicest boy today. His names Cory. He's really cute but really shy and nervous. I asked him if he was doing alright and he said he was okay but it didn't seem like he was okay." Boo looked up at Marlee. Marlee was blushing, she didn't know why exactly. Cory just had been in her mind all day. She couldn't help but smile and feel happy.

Cory calmed down after a little bit and wiped the tears from his face, "S-she's just so nice seeming and pretty. Ugh, it makes me want to snuggle or something with her…Love her…" He stared at the wall, "Feelings are hard and confusing, and damn they really hurt sometimes…"

"Boo, what do I do? He seems like a really sweet guy but he seems really scared to open up. I want him to trust me. I mean, I guess he doesn't trust girls, maybe? I don't know." Marlee looked in the mirror, her nose was no better. "Charlie!"

Lee pawed Cory in the face making him scrunch his nose up, "Meow" The Cat said. Cory got up and got some food for Lee's bowl. Lee strutted over, purring. Cory glanced at Lee then looked up, "Maybe I should give her…a chance." He drew in a deep and shaky breath. "Yes, I'll do that, I'll try to be more trusting."

"Yeah Mars? Oh god, Marlee, that looks really bad." Charlie said, taking a closer look at Marlee's nose. "Okay, we're not waiting for dad to get home, I'm taking you to an Urgent Care now." Marlee looked at him. She hated the doctors. "Fine." Marlee collected the ferrets and put them back in their cages.

Cory sat down and turned on his show, Sherlock. After a while he pulled out his sketchbook too. Around 6:40 Cory ate banana and settled back on the couch, "Mom probably won't be home until like ten again," He mumbled looking at the clock
