"Do you have a phone? So we could text?" Marlee asked.
Ying and Yang ~~~~O/O~~~~ Closed (Stalkers welcome)
"O-oh uh, yeah." Cory blushed and quickly pulled out his phone, his hand shaking slightly.
Marlee looked at the number and wrote it down. "Thanks, I'll text you later. See ya around Cory." Marlee waved.
"Bye," He gave a small wave back
Marlee made her way to her next class. Only two hours to go. She thought to herself.
Cory headed to class quickly, trying to dodge people as he went. Lunch is in an hour, He thought.
Marlee avoided the cheerleaders sitting in the hall and went into her classroom.
(Evanna??????)
Cory walked to the back of class and sat down
(Oh my lord, I'm so sorry, my brain is scattered.)
(Lol it's okay)
Marlee looked at the clock. Thirty minutes until lunch, then freedom from this headache
Finally, after Geography, it was lunchtime. Thank god. Freedom from this hell. And having to talk to people I don't know. The only one I feel comfortable talking to is Marlee.
Finally! Hopefully I can find Cory. Marlee walked to the cafeteria and looked for Cory.
Cory grabbed his food and sat at his usual table in the lunchroom and glanced around for Marlee.
Someone caught Marlee's eye. Oh there's Cory! She made her way over to him before someone stepped in her way. She looked up to see her ex, Payton, standing in front of her. Great, this asshole on top of everything. "Excuse me, I'm trying to walk here." Marlee tried to pass him.
Cory saw Marlee trying to walk over to him and then saw a tall boy block her and suddenly he grew angry and clenched his fists.
"That's nice, I think we should have a little chat." Payton snarled at Marlee. "I haven't wanted to talk to you in a long time, so what the hell do you want?" Payton looked a taken aback but immediately got a smirk right back on his face. "I still want you Marlee." Marlee felt like she was going to barf. Payton then lead in and tried to kiss her. "Get the hell of me!" Marlee tried to push him away from her but she was to weak from her concussion.
Cory felt the rising anger in him, he stood up,What the hell are you doing, Cory? You barely even know the girl He thought, he shook his head and with a cold and threatening voice, he said to the male, "Your company obviously isn't wanted. You should leave now and stop harassing her before the teachers catch you, asshole." Instantly Cory's mind filled with fear, What the hell did I just do?! I'm so stupid….Now I'm going to get beat up and Marlee was probably fine!
Payton looked at Cory. "Fine, whatever." Marlee looked up and smiled at Cory. "Thank you so much!"
Cory steadied himself against the table and gave a breathless nod, his heart beat fast. You're so stupid Cory. That could've gone so badly
"Cory are you okay?" Marlee asked, concerned by his heavy breathing.
He waved her off blushing, "I…I'm f-fine."
"Okay, well let's go sit down, we've dealt with enough assholes for one day." Marlee pointed to the table Cory was sitting at.
"Uh, ah, okay." He sat down and hid his face from her, his face growing redder.
"So how are you really?" Marlee looked over at him.
U-um, I'm just a little n-nervous for what I d-did," He blushed struggling to tell the truth.
"Well I appreciate you standing up for me." Marlee flashed a smile. Ugh why is he so cute when he blushes?
"Oh uh," Cory stuttered and turned to the window his heart racing, "Y-you're welcome." Agh she's so kind and pretty…
Marlee smiled. Aw he's so nervous
The bell rang for the next class to start, "O-oh are you going home now?" He asked.
