Her eyebrows rose in surprise. "O-oh. Sorry," she frowned. "Nobody else?"

(lol he'd probably be like "wtf. Don't touch me. I don't do hugs. Let go." But same lol)

Winter shook his head. Not anymore. I don't want to do that over and over again.

She shoved him again, except not as playfully as before. "You're stupid!" she gave him an annoyed look. "Your friend died, so you just decided to give up on it altogether?!" Astra knew she might be crossing a line. Who cares? He's stupid, and I call 'em how I see 'em!

Friend? Friends. I had friends who died before 0 AD even rolled around, and you call me stupid?? He snorted. "Call me what you will. If you knew the facts, you wouldn't. But like so many people in America today, you prefer instead to create a half assed, ignorant opinion based on only one of many, many relevant facts." He said, looking down at her.

She paused, taking what he said all in. After a while, a grin crept on her face, "Only one of many facts, huh? That means you're hiding something, right? Right!"

Winter groaned. "No, you thick imbecile!" He snapped.

She looked down at herself. "I am thick, thank you!" she giggled.

He rolled his eyes. "Good Lord, give me strength." He muttered.

"Let me ask you once more! May I walk you home?"

"Fine." He snarled.

"REALLY?" She squealed, jumping up and down a little bit. "Cool!" She wrapped her arm through his once more. "Lead the way!"

He pulled his arm from hers, and started walking quickly.

"Tch. You're walking too fast." She caught up to him, stumbling along the way. She held on to his shirt instead of linking arms.

He stiffened slightly, taking a deep breath. "Please don't touch me." He said.

"I can't keep up with you, though!" She whined, but she let go.

"Too bad." He replied calmly, and kept walking.

"Has anyone else told you you're incredibly rude?"

"Yes." He replied calmly.

She burst into giggles. "Shouldn't you take something from that? If people call you rude, why don't you change?"

"Because I don't want to." He said with a slight shrug.

"What a way to live," she yawned, suddenly feeling tired. "You only got one life, you know!"

He coughed to hide his laughter. "Mhm."

"How far away is your house anyway?" She was trying her hardest not to fall behind. "You live in the next city or something?"

"A few more blocks." He replied.

"What kind of house do you live in? Is it an apartment?"

"Small house." He replied.

"That must be really nice," she mumbled. "Do you have any pets?"

He nodded. "My cat. Ash." He replied.

"Aw cute!" She squealed. Astra tugged on his sleeve. "How old are they? What kind of cat is it?"
