Nox carefully watched what Oliver was doing, but she also kept a close eye on Aurelius, as she knew this could be a little dangerous.
Suddenly, she caught a whiff of blood on the air.
Hey, who’s bleeding?
Pollux looked up from where he was gathering herbs. He had a few leaves sticking out of his mouth- herbs he was using to treat himself.
“What’s going on?” He asked as he drew closer in to the group again.
Riven stumbles out the the woods and collapses on the ground. "Oh my gosh!" Oliver left nox and ran over to Riven. "Someone hurry over here!" He didn't touch Riven because light dragon blood was very hot, almost like they could be fire dragons but a bit different. The sun reflected off his scales and blood the glowed a bright silver color instead of red.

“Holy shit,” Pollux murmured when he saw what was happening, “I’ll be there. Give me a moment.”
He shifted the leaves in his mouth to his back teeth and chewed on them a little more to release some of his frustration and fear.
“Where are you hurt?” Pollux asked, trying to see around all the blood.
Where’s Mara? Nox added.
Riven was breathing heavily as he tried to talk. Many spears were stuck in his body, even he was surprised that he was alive. "Be careful when you touch him, try not to touch the blood as much as possible." Oliver went and grabbed some leaves and put them in some cold water. "We need to cool off his blood." Setting them on he realized that he was going to need a lot more leaves to do this. They took her. It was so sudden.

Took her? Nox cried out.
Pollux shook his head. “There’s no way. The blood keeps flowing. We can’t cool it all down. I’ll just…”
He looked around frantically. Nox knocked over Aurelius’ bag. Medical supplies in here. Is that what you need?
Pollux opened the bag and pulled out some of the supplies. He went for some heavy bandages and began to press a few of them into one of the wounds after very carefully pulling out the spear that caused it. A little droplet of blood got on his forearm. He muttered a few choice words, but continued working because he had to.

(So they found two kids who escaped the village, Oliver and Telara. They started flying towards another village even further north, but then Aurelius realized that he could maybe lend a hand to figuring out who the main perpetrator of the attacks was through speaking to some of the dead from both villages. They land because this needs to be done asap, and Aurelius starts the ritual. They’re all kind of waiting around for him to do his thing when Mara strays from the group and is captured.)
Took her? Nox cried out.

Farron cursed under his breath, pacing backwards and forwards, "Do you have any idea where they went? Any clue as to why they would even take her?"

“They didn’t kill her… they must want something, right? Whether that be information or something else, I don’t know.” Pollux muttered, getting back to work after wiping off the dragon blood and shaking off the pain of the burn it caused.
"Is it possible they're using her for ransom? That they might want someone from us?" Farron frowned and sat down on a near by rock, Ysethen behind him.

“It’s possible. Anything is. I don’t really know who Mara is though… I don’t know enough to say anything about it,” Pollux said.
He carefully started removing another spear and working to stop the blood flow. Pollux felt the heat of the blood from under the bandages. He didn’t want to get any more of that on him, if he could help it.
"Do you need any help there, Pollux? I feel kinda useless just sitting here watching…" Farron sighed and ran a hand through his hair, watching the guy carefully.

“Please, if you don’t mind. I’m just trying to stop the blood flow at the moment. But do be careful. His blood is hot,” Pollux warned.
Farron nodded and walked over, pulling up his sleeves and crouching down next to Pollux, "Alright, what do you need me to do?"

“Mmm, could you keep some pressure on the places I already started to cover? I can work on safely removing the spears if you do that,” Pollux said. He didn’t even look at Farron, he was so focused on what he was doing.
Farron nodded and tried to contain his smile at how focused Pollux was after everything he'd been through, "Gotcha." He placed his hands over the wounds and pressed down as hard as he dared.

"Ow, ow." Mara felt cold as she laid on the floor of an unknown place. She went to rub her head but her arms wouldn't move. "What the, where am I?" It was dark and she couldn't see a thing. Riven knew they could save him so he wasn't worried or at least trying not to worry. I have no idea, they just swept in and took her. But it was the same guy that tried to take her before. (Happy Thanksgiving!)

"Riven, how you doing?" Pollux asked as he continued working, "And what do you mean, 'the same guy'? Did you almost lose her before?"
When they attacked our village, yes, Nox explained, Ugh… I do wish Aurelius would hurry up that ritual… I know he has no control, but this is all bad…
(Happy Thanksgiving! Idk how long I'll be here, but my family isn't here yet.)
"Bad is a good word to describe it…" Farron muttered, shaking his head.

Aurelius quietly finished the ritual. An hour at most had passed since he started it; he was lucky it finished that quickly with the current state of emergency. His form glistened, making it look as if he was about to fade away entirely, but then he appeared complete again. He fell forwards into the fire, which was now only embers. The embers scattered over everything in front of him, including the books. As soon as he realized what was happening, he brushed them off before any damage could be done. He was slowly hit with the dark aura that surrounded everyone else. He turned to face Nox, nose bleeding, and still slightly out of it.
"N-Nox, what's wrong?"
They took Mara…
“We need to find her, and soon. She could be dead for all we know…” Farron said, rubbing at his face with his free hand.

"They wouldn't take her if they wanted her dead, would they?" Aurelius asked.
His eyes wandered to Farron, then to Pollux and Riven, who was injured. His expression grew more grim.
“They could get information from her and then kill her. We don’t know what they want to do but it’s possible.” Farron looked over at Aurelius before back to Riven.
