Caelum began to walk down the streets, looking for anything that seemed out of place. But, every day seemed to be the same in towns. Muddy and dirty streets, cramped homes, and not enough of food. She looked away at the sight of children who couldn't even get a slice of bread. It's okay Caelum, we can help them later.

Thatche exhaled sharply as he watched his surroundings from his post outside of the kingdoms gates. It had been a generally boring day, as usual, no one really passed through the gates often.
(How do you want this attack to work?)
( I have no idea. Any ideas anyone? )
Felix followed Caelum, asking annoying questions like, "Why do spiders spin?" and "Do dragons burn the roof of their mouths when they breathe fire? and "Why is it even called "breath fire" when they exhale fire, or more accurately, blow fire?"
She laughed and glanced at Felix. "Why don't you go take these questions to the Council? I'm sure they'd love to hear them."
"I don't think so." Felix blushed, "Even my twin sis can't stand them."
"I can stand them. . . for now." Caelum grinned, nudging him playfully. She didn't break out of her usual serious and noble facade around anyone else than Felix.
Felix nudged back and then tagged her shoulder before running off. "Catch me if you can!" he stuck his tongue out.
Caelum rolled her eyes, but decided to play. "You're going down, Felix!" She called out, running after him.
"In your dreams!" Felix climbed up to the top of a shop, running on the surface of the roofs in the village.

A guard approached Thatcher, telling him his shift was over. He exhaled in relief and walked to his dark colored horse, hopping onto it. He later arrived in the main town, making his way to the castle.
Caelum climbed up after Felix, keeping up a steady pace behind him. It didn't exactly help that he had longer legs. "Oh please, I could beat you anytime, anywhere." She called out as she ran after him, jumping onto new roofs.

When Thatcher arrived, he put his horse away in the stalls and walked down a stone path to the barracks where he hoped to have time to change his clothes.
Felix laughed, "Yeah right."
Caelum caught up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. She turned on her heels and made her way towards a different roof.
Felix smiled and jumped towards Caelum, chasing after her.
Caelum skid to a stop, a huge building blocking off the next roof. She was cornered. Great, he's going to win. . . again.
Felix tagged her forehead and jumped off of the roof, landing on his horse. He laughed, "Always be prepared, Caelum!"
Caelum let out a sigh of frustration and climbed down the building, hopping onto her own horse. "Come on, Blackjack." She murmured to it, tapping his black coat with her boot.
She caught up to Felix and glanced at him, slowing down to a trot. "We should probably go back towards the Queen."
Felix nodded.
Caelum looked up at the town's clock, reading the time. "There's a new shift, and the Queen will be in a meeting for about two hours." She started, looking at Felix. "What were you saying about that lunch date?"
"Date?" Felix blushed deeper. "Um-I-I-I meant that-well-um-I-I-um-I guess-wait-um-date?"
"Well, yes, a date." She grinned, looking ahead so Felix wouldn't see her blush.
Felix pulled at his hair, "Okay. Um. A lunch date."
"Do you not want one. . . ?" She asked, glancing at Felix.
"No! I mean, a lunch date is good. Yeah. Date. Lunch date." Felix laughed awkwardly.
"Well," Caelum started. "I know a place. . ." She already had some food packed on her horse, a habit she had started. If something went wrong, at least she would have some supplies.
Felix nodded.
