Felix walked up to the queen's room and waited outside of the door for her to come out.
Fantasy Kingdom (Open to joining)
Caelum saw The Queen and followed close behind her, her hand still resting on the dark hilt of her sword. She focused her unwavering amber eyes on everyone who passed.
She nodded and watched the Queen leave.
//I guess willow can jump in now?
Felix stayed a little bit behind Caelum and kept his hand on the hilt of his sword, watching the queen's movements.
She nodded and watched the Queen leave.
//I guess willow can jump in now?
(Yes)
She gracefully hurried down the halls and down the numerous stairs in her palace. It had her wondering what the first royal family was thinking when they had the palace built.
When they reached the exit, Felix opened up the palace doors for her majesty and bowed, waiting for her to go through.
She shivered and pulled her cloak tighter around her as the cool air hit her. She hurried to the carriage and with he help of the others, she managed to stuff her dress into the carriage.
Felix had never been taught where to stand around a carriage. He stared at the queen, kind of lost. Should he mount the horse, get inside, stay outside and run with the carriage?
Elysia snorted. "Felix, you haven't done this before have you?" She asked amused.
//I guess she can drive the carriage or something?
Willow was perched on the seat in the front of the carriage, a loose dress around her.
"Gah!" Felix jumped back and then immediately bowed, "Forgive me, your majesty, I haven't."
(I’m going to be done for 2 hours, bye!)
She cover her mouth and giggled. "Mount a hourse and follow in front of behind." She told him.
Felix nodded and his eyes brightened, he loved horses. The horse he mounted was big and powerful, completely white with a long, soft mane.
She smiled. "Is everyone here? Can we go now?" She asked no one in particular.
“I’d prefer behind, sir,” Willow said. “Helps me see the road better.”
"I believe so." Felix did as the duchess instructed and stayed behind, keeping an eye on the setting behind him.
Ailin ran up to the carriage, breathless, cheeks flushed and eyes shining. “Forgive me, Your Majesty, the road was longer than I anticipated.”
Willow called the horses to move, and they set off for the villages. “Where is our first stop, m’am?” She asked.
Elysia opened the carriage door to let the girl in. "It's okay Ailin. You've made it just on time." She leaned back as the carriage began move. She turned Willow and explained the villages they would see and where they would be stopping for the night before continuing on.
“As you wish, m’am,” she said. “Our first stop is soon - just a few minutes. It is wealthier - I expect you will want to speak to them, m’am?”
"I would prefer not too, but as my advisors pointed out, they are our main income. We must keep them happy if we want to keep the money flowing." She said.
(Have to go, brb)
“Of course, m’am.” S few minutes later, they stopped in the town square of the biggest town (minus the capital).
Ailin spoke up shyly. “Your Majesty, is the village of Birchwood on your list of visits?”
"Yes. If everything goes according to plan, we'll visit the village on day three." She said and looked out the window.
Felix got off his horse and opened the door, "Would her majesty like to tour the village on foot?"
Elysia smiled. "I would." With the help of the young guard, she managed to get herself and her dress out of the carriage.
Ailin smiled slightly and looked at her clasped hands in her lap, grateful to the Queen for including the stop on her list. (I’m thinking Ailin knows somebody there)
