“Sure..” Briar handed her the pad and let her take a look over.
She was still a bit woozy from the stress of the birth, so the fact that she was a mother hadn’t set in quite yet.
“How to Save A Life..” Remake Roleplay (read the description, please)
Caroline smiled down at the list. "These are great." A few caught her eye, but she said nothing. It wasn't her place.

“Really? Which one do you like the most?” Brair waited patiently for a possible answer from her friend. She didn’t know jack about names, and wanted someone’s opinion before making a choice.
"Noah's always been a personal favourite. And I like Jace, Dylan and Ethan."
“I’ll keep those in mind..” Briar said softly, looking down at her hands.
“Uhm..can I ask you a question..about..uhm..feeding..him?”
Caroline looked at her friend. "Yeah, anything!" She sat on the edge of the bed. "Fire away."
“Uhm..well, should I bottle feed him..or?” Briar’s face went red as she gestured to her chest. She couldn’t meet Caroline’s gaze.
Caroline laughed at her friend embarrassment. "Breastfeed him? Well, I could go through all the details with you, but I'll keep it general. Breastfeeding is healthy for both the baby and the mother, it's cheaper, and it strengthens the bond between the child and the mother. But it's incredibly time-consuming and tiring. Formula is easy to access and make, and it doesn't have any disadvantages apart from being expensive. You can also mix bottle and breast feeding, though."
“T-That’s a lot to..take in..” Briar laughed nervously, rubbing her shoulder. She decided to change the subject before she could get any more anxious than she already was.
“C-can I see him, please?”
Caroline hesitated but nodded. "He needs to stay in the incubator for the first day, unfortunately, so you won't be able to hold him."
“That’s fine..I just—want to look at his tiny face..” Brair choked up slightly, but
masked it over with a cough.
"Of course." Caroline helped her up and made sure Briar leaned on her. She led her into the next room where the baby was sleeping. Machines and wires beeped and zigzagged through the room.
Briar was unnerved by the amount of machinery that surrounded her newborn. Once she peeked through the Plexiglass window of the incubator, her anxiety turned to mesmerization. There he laid, his tiny arms and legs spread out comfortably. His red cherub-like face, which was chubby and round, displayed a look of content.
“Hello, Anthony..” She whispered, tears of joy filling her eyes.
“You can’t keep it.” Her father leaned up against the doorframe, his bulky, muscular frame filled the entire doorway.
Caroline turned to Briar's father. "Sir, please," she sighed exasperatedly.
(I will make Dove freakin' fight Briar's dad if he tries to take her son away from her)
(YES PLEASE CAROLINE WILL HELP)
(Yes, let’s do it)
“I am not letting my whore daughter, keep that baby..” The veins in his forehead bulged furiously, like he was about to explode.
(Sorry for the harsh language, but Briar’s father isn’t a guy for..careful word choices..)
Caroline inhaled deeply. "Get out of my work area, sir. Now."
(I will make Dove freakin' fight Briar's dad if he tries to take her son away from her)
(So will Natalie.)
“I refuse to..until I am given that child!” He snapped.
“Daddy, please stop this—“ Briar tried to calm her father and bring him down from his angry rampage. In his furious stupor, he slammed his daughter up against a wall over and over again.
"PUT BRIAR DOWN NOW!" Caroline had gotten hold of a large, thick metal pole that she was brandishing at Briar's father.
(I hate Briar's dad so much omg)
Natalie ran in with another doctor who helped Natalie hold the crazed man back from Briar. "Don't you dare touch her." Natalie said with fire in her eyes. She ran over to Briar.
(I hate Briar's dad so much omg)
(Ditto)
“Very well.” He pushed Briar to the ground, where she lay, crumpled in a ball.
He gave the room a last look before storming out the door.
“That child will be mine, you hear?” His voice echoed through the halls.
Briar began to sob and shake, utterly rattled by the whole altercation.
“I won’t let him..I won’t..let him take my child away..” Tears poured down her cheeks, and her wide brown eyes glistened.
(I hate Briar's dad so much omg)
(Ditto)
I hate him, and I created him..
Caroline knelt at Briar's side. Her head was bleeding. "Oh my god. Someone, help her, please!" she cried out hysterically.
Natalie slid her arms under Briar and pulled her into an embrace. "He won't. Briar I promise we won't let him." She soothed.
Natalie looked at Caroline. "Caroline I need to talk to you privately."
