Max shifted around a bit as he slept.

Alita woke up slowly on the tree branch, she rubbed her eyes and sat up, mumbling about turning the light off.

Max kept sleeping, shifting around occasionally in his sleep.

Alita glanced over at Max and smiled, debating whether to wake him up or let him sleep.

Still sleeping.

Alita smiled and laid back down on her branch, deciding to wait until he woke up. She started humming and singing a P!ATD song softly while she waited.

Still sleeping 'cause yeeeeeee.

Alita smiled and impatiently sat up, smacking Max in the stomach to wake him up. She giggled and climbed down the tree quickly before he woke up.

Max yelped in surprise and woke up, startled, as he looked around to find who smacked him on the stomach. He glanced at the spot where Alita was supposed to be then looked down to find Alita climbing down the tree. "Why did you do that?"

Alita giggled "You wouldn't wake up.." She continued to climb down the tree incase Max decided to chase her.

"That's not my fault!" Max said, climbing down the tree after hejr.

Alita giggled and playfully started running through the trees away from him.

Max groaned and ran after her, a small smile on his face.

Alita dashed through the trees and found a bush, she dove into it and giggled, waiting to see if he would find her.

Max saw her diving into a bush and he did the same, laughing as he glanced at Alita. "Found you."

Alita laughed and threw a handful of leaves at him "Darn…." She smiled and rolled through the leaves up to Max, acting like a little kid.

Max yelped in surprise and dusted the leaves off of him. "Try harder next time."

Alita giggled and sat up next to him "Wake up earlier next time," She smiled at him and gave him a quick hug before jumping up and running back to the tree, waiting for him to make his way back.

Max groaned again and got up, following her back to the tree. "It's not my fault I got no sleep the other night."

Alita smiled "You need to start sneaking out more often, it's good for you." She walked up to him and gave him another hug, this time not letting go right away.

Max chuckled and hugged back. "I'll try."

Alita smiled and stood on her tiptoes, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek before looking up at him, "you stay here, i'm going to go get some food for us."

"Nuuu, I wanna help," Max whined, returning the kiss.

"Fine," Alita smiled "Well then, let's get going."

Max smiled and pecked her lips. "Thanks."

Alita giggled and blushed, "What should we get…something from town? or should we go hunt?"

Max shrugged. "Your choice."

"Noooooooo, you choose." Alita giggled and looked at Max with puppy eyes.

"Nope, I'm terrible at deciding," Max replied, a small smile on his face as he looked at Alita.

Alita crossed her arms and did a fake frown "No you aren't, but i'll choose if you want.." She smiled "We can go into town for bread and cheese and then go hunt for a rabbit and make sandwiches.."
