Ok, Xara starts setting the table.

Met rose his head a little from his book, sniffing the air. “Is the food a,most ready, Xara?” He asked, after the woman had gotten up.

"I don't know, why don't you tell me?" Xara answered wryly.

Met’s jowls quivered And he glared at Xara over the edge of the couch. “You’re supposed to be kind to your guests, you know.”

"Aren't guests supposed to be invited?" Xara began. Then, sensing Met's anger, she laughed. "I'm just teasing, you know."

Met huffed at her. “I didn’t want to come. Neo thought I’d get lonely.” Teasing my fear end, He grumbled.

Xara decided it would be best to stop talking, because once the sarcasm started, it became an unstoppable flow.

Met huffed again and went back to his book. I didn’t even get an answer to my question.

As Xara finished setting up the table, she called to Met, "there's food, if you want some."

“Oh, great.” Met shutnhis book after marking it and stood, walking to the table. “Thanksssss, oh dear hostess.”

"Whatever, you're welcome, I guess," Xara replied, suddenly feeling embarrassed.

Met sat down at the table, sighing softly. “So… what’s first?”

"I don't really care, eat whatever you want." Xara said, inwardly facepalming. She tried not to run as she went to the restroom to wash her hands.
