Met set down his sticky fork and watched her, looking thoroughly concerned. “O-alrigh5… um…”

Xara set down her fork and promptly fell out of her chair.

“Oh!” Met screamed unnecessarily loud when she fell, barely catching her. Ah—ah—ah - shit!

Xara was out cold. Telekinesis was exhausting.

Met lifted her up the best he could, panting as he strained his scrawny body. He lugged her across the apartment to her bedroom— or a bedroom that he assumed was hers— and lifted her in it.

Xara woke up for a second, muttered something unintelligible, and fell back asleep.

Met stumbled around for a few moments before redirecting himself back to the pie. Good idea. Pie. Mmm…

Unbeknownst to her, Xara had started moving objects around in her sleep. There was a lot of stuff floating arounf in her room.

Met heard things b7moing around and stood from hisnpie again, to go investigate. “O-oh. Alright, then…” He slowly shut the dooor, swallowing nervously.

(Lmao) Xara was probably dreaming about pie but who knows?

Met scooted across the apartment again and sat, finishing off the pie she left over. He probably wouldn’t be able to eat for another few days, but hey, he got pie.

As the credits rolled, Suri yawned, covering her mouth with her hand. She stood up and stretched.

Neo yawned too, but for a different reason. He had been trying to focus all movie over a couple sitting in front of them. Not fun. He rose, smiling and offering his hand to Suri.
“Would you like to get dinner?”

Suri took his hand and smiled dazzlingly. "Only if you pay," she teased.

Neo chuckled and gently kissed her hand. “What kind of man would I be if I didn’t? Come on. There’s a wonderful place just down the street.”

Suri giggled as they walked out of the theater.
