Marine Rescue (Closed)

"And that's a problem?" Tara asked curiously.

“Cooper, he, Uhh. He isn’t exactly a desirable person to put it lightly.”

Tara sighed. "Well, you'll figure it out." She whispered, putting her head back on his shoulder.

“Hopefully,” He said under his breath. He had been trying to ‘figure out’ his brother for years.

Tara nodded. "Hopefully." She repeated.

“Besides he isn’t the brother I wanted you to meet,”

"You have more than one brother?"

Darren nodded, “Yeah two older brothers,”

Tara nodded. "Is it annoying to have two older brothers sometimes?"

(What?)

“One is annoying and I could really live without him but my other brother Neal. We’re close.”

(Inside joke sorry I had to do it for Cam)

"That's nice." Tara answered, struggling to keep her eyes open.

“Yeah it is,” he looked down at her, “Are you tired?”

"No….why'd you ask?" Tara said yawning.

He smiled a little, “You just seem a little tired,”

"I'm not….yawn….tired at all."

“Whatever you say dear. Let me know when you want to go home Okay?”

"yawn Okay Darren…." Tara sighed and looked around. "……We're still on the floor." She finally stated.

He laughed, “Yeah. Yeah we are. Would you like to be somewhere else?”

"I don't….yawn….care…"

“You seem like you prefer a couch at the least,” he laughed.

"Okay…." Tara answered.

He stood up and offered a ha d to help her.

Tara grabbed his hand and let herself be pulled up.

Darren smiled and led her to the living room before flipping down on the couch.

Tara followed Darren, falling back on the couch with a slightly sleepy laugh.

Darren laughed and wrapped an arm around her.

Tara smiled and put her arms over top of Darren's.

He returned the smile. He thought about taking her home, she had seemed tired before but he enjoyed her company and didn’t mind if she was asleep or not.

Tara sighed, feeling exhausted but staying awake.

Darren stayed silent as he pondered what he would do if she fell asleep here.
