Tara thought for a moment as she kept walking. "Hmm…..about three years, I'd say. I also study here. And live in an apartment with my friend Abby(if that's okay) about five minutes away."

Abby came out of the bathroom, having changed into her uniform, and sat behind the counter at the main desk. She logged onto the computer and saw Tara walking with some other guy. "Tara!" Abby called out and waved.

Tara whipped around sharply, spotting her friend. "Hey Abby! Come on Darren, I want you to meet my friend Abby real quick!" She exclaimed, pulling Darren towards Abby.

River had his headphones on and was jogging along the shoreline. He spotted Astra and Kalia. He smiled as his headphones were pulled back, "Hey guys!"

Darren nodded, he didn't mind being pulled around it kind of helped his nerves somehow. "Hey,"

"Hey. I'm Abby, but I get the feeling that she probably told you that already." Abby grinned and stuck out her hand.

"Sadly, yes," Kalei answered, laughing softly as she dropped her hand from the crystal necklace around her neck, instead placing her hands in the large pocket of her hoodie. "And don't worry, I brought an aventurine crystal for luck," She added, motioning to the faded green crystal bracelet on her left wrist. Kalei had been raised from a young age that crystals had different properties, so she had never let go of the belief. It usually brought her some sort of comforting feeling to know that these crystals could possibly bring her different aspects; luck, calm, happiness, etc.

Astraa nodded as she shook the sand off of her fedora before putting it on her head. Tara smiled and sighed. "A-ight.(Something I say often lol) Abs wanna head to the trauma center with us?"

River overheard Astraa's riddle, "It's Corundum."

Astra turned around and saw a co-worker River, she just knew him, but she didn't really hang out that much since Astra wasn't involved with working with the animals that much. "Thats not even close." Astra responded.

" I won't waste my time, or else I'll give a dime." Astra said as she put her sandals on and shook some sand off her fedora before she started to pull Kaila along with her to the car.

River shook his head at Astra's slight nonsense. He waved at the girls, "I'll see you there. Bye!"

Tara looked towards the trauma center, then back at Darren and Abby.
