"And don't worry, I brought an aventurine crystal for luck," She added, motioning to the faded green crystal bracelet on her left wrist. Kalei had been raised from a young age that crystals had different properties, so she had never let go of the belief. It usually brought her some sort of comforting feeling to know that these crystals could possibly bring her different aspects; luck, calm, happiness, etc.

"Sapphire. Part of the Corundum family, right?" Kalei guessed, shrugging faintly as she tugged her hoodie closer to her, the cold, ocean wind picking up. She glanced towards the water, fidgeting with one of her bracelets, knowing that they needed to go soon.

"No its Ruby, but I'll give you some credit." Astra replied as she dragged Kalei to the car.

"Credit is good enough for me," Kalei commented, laughing lightly as she walked behind Astra, brushing a few strands of her dark hair away from her face. After a few moments, the pair made it to the car, Kalei making her way to the other side in order to open one of the car doors.

(Dennis breathes)

Tara smiled and sighed. "A-ight.(Something I say often lol) Abs wanna head to the trauma center with us?"

"Yeah sure," Abby said, glancing at the computer screen for a second.

Darren smiled, "I went to college to be a surgeon for awhile so they think I can be useful in there."

Abby tore her eyes away from the computer, and they genuinely weren't the same degree of cheerful as they were before. But Abby was good at pretending. "So, why are we heading to TC?" she casually asked Tara.

"Because Darren wants to see it." Tara said, clamping a hand over her mouth as another giggle escaped her lips.

"Are you laughing at me?" Darren quirked a joking eyebrow.

"Maaaabe." Tara said, giggling guiltily.

He shook his head, "Not nice to make fun of the new guy," a joking skile remained on his face.

Abby slid her keycard and they entered the room.

"I'm not giggle making fun of you giggle I just giggle can't stop giggle laughing!" Tara returned, covering her mouth on an attempt to stop laughing, walking faster towards their destination.

He shook his head as a new smile grew on his face from entering TC.

Tara managed to stop laughing. "Okay, so let us give you the tour…." She trailed off as she led him though the TC.
