Murder mystery in 1580 Venice.... a one on one (CLOSED)

Venice, 1580. Angelo and Rosanna, twins both gifted with genius intellect, have found themselves investigating a series of strange murders. The bodies are twisted, mutilated, malformed, and always found in the canal. So far the twins have found a connection to Signora Francesca's school for the gifted, and are now going undercover to investigate.

Rules: Same as andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s gore is okay in small amounts, LGBTQA+ is totally fine.
As for characters, Angelo and Rosanna have to be the same age, be related, and have genius intellect but otherwise design them however you like. Angelo=Male and Rosanna=Female by the way if you're confused. I may make a template later. Also, this story will have elements of SCI FI (Because of the corpses, it has a very futuristic explanation. The bodies were failed experiments, the experiments that succeeded are the students in the "Private Wing"…. or what's left of them.) later on, if you want your character to discover something just let me know and I'll see if I can fit it into the main plot.

Looks: Messy, darker brown hair that is usually in a windblown style. Tanned/olive skin with warmer undertones. Freckles on the bridge of his nose and on his shoulders. Darker brows and lashes. Has mismatched eyes; one is amber and the other is a greener color. A few scars on his arms and one on his bottom lip. Around 5'8 with a leaner and lankier build. His mouth is usually twisted in a half smirk.
Attire: Usually in a white button up and darker trousers/pants. Shorter boots and sometimes wearing a cap. Has a satchel for carrying specific objects and pencils.
Personality: Can be sarcastic and hostile at first. He doesn't take great care of himself but always puts those he loves in front of himself. Once he opens up; he likes to laugh and is very protective and gentle. More clever than he will let on and can be mischievous at times. Is very protective of his sister.
Other: Has a necklace from his parents that he constantly fiddles with when he thinks or is nervous. Draws with charcoals. Angelo is also quite good at convincing people.

Looks: Wavy dark brown hair that is usually tied up in a messy bun, tanned olive skintone, light colored freckles across the bridge of her nose. Has mismatched eyes like her brother's; one is amber and the other is a green color.
Attire: Light grey knee length dress with a thin belt tied around the waist, burgundy leggings, weathered brown boots and an olive green cloak fastened by a silver brooch with a stag on it, has a necklace with a small ruby pendant her mother gave her.
Personality: Adventurous and always getting into trouble. Knows a good deal when she sees one and has a silver tongue that can get her out of any predicament… well, almost any. Loves to tell stories and dance, Rosanna is the troublemaker of the two, but is very clever and can always think outside the box. She is observant and can make deductions faster than you can sneeze.
Other: Has a habit of twirling her hair and biting her lip when thinking, loves cats and hates pears. Never eat pears.
