Angelo took Rosanna's hand as he led her down the hallway on a small jog, feeling the walls so then they wouldn't get lost in the darkness. A few voices hurriedly whispered as their footsteps seemed to walk faster in order to reach the twins. Come on. . . where's the trapdoor?

"Through here!" Rosanna said, leading them through a corridor. It was away from the trapdoor but they could hide, hopefully.
(Hello?)
"Through here!" Rosanna said, leading them through a corridor. It was away from the trapdoor but they could hide, hopefully.
(Sorry, I forgot to answer.)
Angelo made a quick turn as they began to run down the dark, musty corridor again. He suddenly felt claustrophobic in the expanse of hallways, but he ignored his fearful thoughts and soon found a small crevice in the wall. "Here. We can fit in this small hole."
"Good, then let's do that." she said. Several men walked past, dragging along a dark haired girl. Soon, the footsteps faded away.
Angelo looked towards the hallway, noticing the dark haired girl from one of the older classes. She was probably one of their best students. "What are they doing with her…?" He whispered hurriedly, looking over at Rosanna with a furrowed brow.
"I don't know! Let's get out of here, we can ask her later. I recognize her, she likes to sit in the courtyard around noon."
"What if they don't let her go, Rosanna?" Angelo asked quickly, a note of concern in his tone. If those men were taking her somewhere at night, it was likely that she wouldn't be coming back. "We need to follow her!"
"Fair point." she said, sneaking after them and not bothering to wait for Angelo.
Angelo shook his head faintly as he ran after Rosanna quietly, gripping the satchel on his side so it wouldn't make any noise.
"This way!" she whispered.
Angelo followed closely behind his sister, occasionally looking behind them to check if anyone was walking through the halls. He looked ahead again and studied the walls for any symbols or mechanisms that could provide clues to where the dark-haired girl was being led.
"This way!" Rosanna whispered, hearing footsteps and voices.
Angelo hurried after Rosanna, glancing around the corridors as he began to hear heavy stomps and deep voices whispering hurriedly. They seemed to be talking about the girl quickly and he could only catch a few words. Test. Formula. Subjects. Top Class.
"They're taking her into another room, that way!"
Angelo followed close behind her, furrowing his brow as he tried to listen for more words.
Rosanna peered through a keyhole. There was a room, full of green light, and a chair with straps as if for a surgeon. "Angelo, I can't quite see what they're doing but I think it's some type of a surgery!"
"What else is going on? Hold on, let me take some notes," Angelo whispered hurriedly as he grabbed his notebook and a small pencil out of his satchel. He kneeled down next to Rosanna and raised his hand, already scribbling down what his sister had said. "Describe the room, who's in there, anything."
"There's a green light, and a chair with straps. They're putting the girl in the chair." she said.
Angelo continued to scribble everything down and looked back up at Rosanna with wide eyes, ready to hear more and write it down immediately. Maybe he would have some time to sketch the room out tomorrow. "Are they saying anything? Or is there medicine? Writing?"
"Someone, a woman I think is… is biting the girl's neck! Oh my stars, that's horrid!"
"They seem to be vampires or something." she said.
"Vampires?" Angelo repeated as he continued to scribble down every single word that Rosanna said. If they were vampires, did that mean that the rest of the school's staff were vampires as well? "What else is happening?"
"I can't see, it's gone dark. They turned off the lights."
"Shoot," Angelo muttered, leaning forward a bit to check the keyhole with Rosanna. Sadly, she was right. The whole laboratory was as dark as the corridors. "We need to head back."
"Yeah, agreed."
"Let's go then. Do you know the way?" Angelo asked softly as he nodded towards the dark corridors. There were a few torches that lit the stone walls dimly, but other than that, the halls were pitch black.
"No, I don't." she said, worried.
(Hello?)
(Sorry, let me write the response up.)
"We need to get out of here quickly. Look for some clues or the crevice we hid in," Angelo answered quickly, a pang of concern shooting through him. If they couldn't find their way out, would they end up like that girl? No, he shouldn't think like that. They have to make it out.
