Pierce sighed to himself and shook his head, a smile back on his face, "She's great. I'll find a way to get to her…" He continued thinking as he walked away, heading to his apartment. After a few minutes his eyes widened, "Aha!" He murmured, "Her name is like the stars, I wonder if she likes space and astronomy. I'll plan right away."
Night Time Lovers
She was in the abandoned apartment next to you, sighing as she stretched out and read a book of mythology. People thought it was haunted, really it was just her living the run away life, rent free. She even enjoyed disturbing the neighbors at times.
Pierce sat in his swivel chair that he had in his small apartment, spinning slowly and thinking of how to impress Starla.
Suddenly in the apartment next to him there was a loud bang. Starla had tripped and fallen over her own shoe laces while trying to get a soda out of the cooler she kept hidden in a closet. She sighed and got up, took off her shoes, and carefully tip toed over to the cooler, got her soda, opened it, and went back to her book.
Pierce looked to the wall in surprise at the noise. He had no idea someone lived in the apartment next to him, it was tiny and kinda run down. He sighed and continued thinking of how to impress Starla.
She slammed the book shut, and climbed out the window after packing away her stuff and hiding it all back in the floorboards, ceiling, and other little holes. She then sat in your window, in the open sill, and dug through her backpack. "Where is it…" She then pulls out a comic and nodded, looked at you, flipped you off, and jumped. She landed in a dumpster, and scrambled out, and got out, then walked off.
Pierce’s eyes widened as he watched Starla dog through her bag and then flip him off, “Shit.” He muttered, “Why is she living in that crummy apartment…?”
(Hey do you think Starla would like those little glowy star sticker things that you put on the wall or ceiling in a bedroom? Kinda classic but-)
(Bump?)
(I SWEAR IT DELETED MY RESPONSE! She would LOVE tacky glow in the dark stars)
(AWESOME! And don't worry it's all good!)
She headed off to the comic shop to go pet cats. She was friends with the owner and went there pretty often to chill.
Pierce finally figured out how to impress her, "Aha!" He cheered to himself, "Glow in the dark stars!" His apartment was near the store so he quickly ran to the store and easily found some of the stars. He went back to his apartment and stuck the glow stars somewhere she would find them in their packaging with a note,
Hey Starla, I got these for you. I hope you like them, you seem like someone who would love astrology stuff. If you want help putting them up later, you know where to find me. -Pierce
Starla came back, and saw the stars on the window sill. She took them off, and groaned as she stared up at the ceiling. It wasn't tall, she was just really short. She sighed, opened the door, and knocked on the apartment door next to her, glaring at the door as she did so.
Pierce answered the door and looked down cheerfully at the shorter girl, “Hey Starla! What’s up, I hope you liked my gift.” He said.
She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, thanks. Look. I'm kinda way to short to even bother getting close to the ceiling, could you not be a flirty dick and come help me?" She asked pointedly, obviously not happy with this.
Pierce awkwardly laughed back, “Um, yeah, sure! I’d be happy to help.” He responded, “I’m ready when you are.”
(Mind if we bump this back up? @EvTheBoredRPer )
(Sure yeah, sorry!)
(No, it's fine. I was inactive too so it's okay)
(I've gotta do some chores ill be back)
(Okay)
(BACK!)
She only rolled her eyes, and motioned for him to follow him into the shotty apartment. All there was, was a mattress on the floor, a milk crate with comic books in it, and a small cooler in the closet. On top of it was a microwave. The ceiling had cracks in it, and she barely even had electricity, and she had to mess with the wiring in the wall to steal from others, and she had no water what so ever.
Pierce glanced around the small apartment, a small frown on his face, but he didn’t comment on the well being of her house.
She handed him the stick on stars, looking up at the ceiling. "Just put them wherever you think looks good." She headed over to the mini fridge, grabbed a soda, and sat on the mattress.
Pierce smiled at her and nodded, “Of course, Starla,”. He began sticking on the ceiling, making some in the shape of constellations.
She watched him work, and grabbed her backpack, pulling out a map of the stars, making sure they were accurate. She'd correct him here and there on star placement.
Pierce listened to Starla’s directions and carefully placed the stars in every place she told him. When he ran out, he smiled up at the ceiling, then turned to her, “Done!”
"Looks good. Uhm…thanks? You want a soda? I have pepsi, coke a cola annnnd…7UP. Need to get more soon though."
“I’ll take a coke, thanks.” Pierce responded, “Umm, if you don’t mind me asking…how long have been living here?”
